Imagine: You are the Winchester's little sister and they take you to a carnival for your birthday where you end up getting sick and they take care of you.

Growing up in the hunting life, you were taught you had to sacrifice many things that normal people got. Normal people got to celebrate holidays, weddings...birthdays. Hunters didn't get any of that. Or, at least, the way John raised you and your brothers, you never got any of that.

John made sure to give you the essentials in life, like food, clothes, shelter and schooling. But, school just made you realize how much you had to sacrifice to make sure other people were safe from the things that go bump in the night. People at school had friends that they hung out with, they had clubs and sports to do after school. You, Sam and Dean just had each other.

Kids at school would talk about how many presents they got for Christmas, or how great their birthday party was, and you would have to pretend like you knew what they were talking about. All you got on your birthday every year was a simple "Happy Birthday" from your family. No cake, no singing, no presents.

It bummed you out to think about in particular this year. It was your sixteenth birthday. Supposedly, that was a big deal for 'normal' people. People always threw big parties when someone turned sixteen.

But, you weren't getting a party. You were just sitting alone in the motel room, watching as your brothers were still sleeping. You were bummed out, but you would never make your opinions known. You knew that hunting kept your father busy and Sam and Dean didn't exactly have money to spend with no jobs. But, still, you wished you could celebrate your birthday at least once.

You grabbed a piece of paper and wrote a note to your brothers, saying:

Went out to walk around for a little bit. I'll be back soon.

Then, you grabbed your phone and coat, made sure you had a gun on you like your father taught you, and left the motel room. You walked around the town you were staying in, looking in all of the different stores. You couldn't buy anything, but you liked to see what you would buy if you could.

You spent a few hours in the town and when it was a couple of hours past noon, you decided to walk back to the motel. You went inside the motel room and were surprised at what you saw. Sam and Dean were there smiling like idiots as 'Happy Birthday' decorations coated the room.

"Happy Birthday!" they said in unison, making you smile. You hugged both of them before saying, "You guys didn't have to do all this." You played it off, but on the inside, you were so happy that they got decorations. Leave it to your brothers to always make you feel better.

"Of course we did, it's your birthday. We have to celebrate," Sam replied. You looked at your brothers confused and replied, "We've never celebrated my birthday before." Your brothers shared a look before Dean shrugged his shoulders and said, "Well, it's a great year to start." They then led you back out of the motel room.

"Uh, guys? Where are we going?" you asked them. "To celebrate," Dean replied. "Dean, whenever you say you're celebrating, you end up sleeping with a girl," you teased, making Dean glare back at you.

Sam started laughing as he looked between you and Dean. "Yeah, well, not this time," Dean responded. You followed your brothers for a few minutes until you finally reached a large open area that had a ferris wheel, rollercoasters and different stands. "What is this?" you asked, slightly in awe.

"The Mississippi State Carnival," Sam explained, looking at you with a smile. "It's cheap to get in and as much fun as other amusement parks, and since we've never been to one...Dean and I just wanted to do something special for you," Sam continued.

The smile on your face spread even more as you hugged both of your brothers. "Guys, this is so amazing. Thank you so much!" you told them, excitement seeping out of your voice. You practically sprinted into the carnival, dragging Sam and Dean behind you. You made them go on the ferris wheel with you. On every single one of the rollercoasters and to each different stand.

You ended up filling up on so much sweet food. You had a funnel cake, cotton candy, ice cream, soda. Your stomach was not feeling good at all. But, you made it your mission to try every single thing in the state carnival. If this was the only time you were going to go to one of them, you wanted to make sure you did everything.

And you did everything, except for one rollercoaster. You were saving it for last, but as you and your brothers approached it, you quickly regretted that idea. The rollercoaster was the largest one in the state carnival and had lots of curves and loops. Normally, you would be up for the challenge. But, with how your stomach was currently feeling, you weren't sure.

"Guys, I don't think this is a good idea," you told them, looking at your brothers. "What? Come on," Dean replied. "I thought you wanted to do everything at the carnival," Sam added. "Well, I do but...," you started but Dean cut you off.

"Don't tell me you're scared, Y/N," he teased, giving you his classic smirk. "Of course I'm not scared, it's just," you tried to tell them again, but were stopped by Dean again. "Prove it," he challenged. You let out a sigh because you knew that you were never going to turn down a chance to prove Dean wrong.

You led the way as the three of you walked up to the entrance of the rollercoaster. The employee strapped the three of you in and gave you a small smile before saying, "I hope the three of you have strong stomachs."

You looked at the worker, scared now, as you felt the rollercoaster began to move. You held your breath as the rollercoaster went up, dropped down, took sharp curves and made you go upside down through the loops. You were on the verge of throwing up, but you forced yourself not to. The ride kept going and you were losing the battle with your stomach.

Finally, it was over. The straps were undone and you jumped out of the rollercoaster, running over to the nearest trash can and throwing up. Sam and Dean instantly ran to your side. Sam pulled your hair back as you continued to throw up and Dean rubbed your back.

"Like I was trying to say, I shouldn't have done that with so much junk food in my system," you stated. Sam and Dean shared a guilty look as you continued to throw up and when you were done, Dean said, "Come on, let's get you back to the room." Sam and Dean helped you walk and when you got back to the motel, they helped you laid down.

Sam got you water while Dean made sure you were comfortable and had a trash can right next to you in case you needed to throw up. Whatever you needed your brothers got it for you and they took care of you all night.

You loved how much your brothers cared for you, and even though you felt horrible right now, it was still the best birthday you had ever had. And, it was all thanks to your brothers.

Always Keep Fighting!
