Imagine: You and Sam read together in front of the fireplace while it's raining.

You yawned as you stretched your arms and legs out, relaxing back into the comfort of your bed. You rolled over and expected to see your boyfriend, Sam, but instead found nothing but the cold bed. You sat up slowly, ran your fingers through your hair, and then stood up.

You grabbed a smaller blanket and wrapped it around your shoulders, pulling it close to your body. You walked out of your bedroom and began walking down the hallways of the bunker, your feet padding softly against the floor.

You walked towards the library, and when you finally reached the entrance, you leaned against the door frame, smiling softly. Sam was in there, sitting on a chair, next to the fireplace that was in the library. The room was dimly lit and behind Sam was a window that showed the rain that pouring down outside.

"Hey, you," you said, still a little sleepy. Sam immediately looked up at you and smiled warmly, placing a bookmark in the book he was reading and setting it down on the arm of the chair he was sitting in.

"Good morning, beautiful. How did you sleep?" he asked as you began walking toward the nearest bookshelf. "Good," you replied absentmindedly as your eyes scanned the books on the shelf. You dragged your fingers over a couple, not noticing Sam's look of admiration.

Finally, you found a book you liked and pulled it off of the shelf. You made your way over to the spot was sitting in, and Sam pulled you onto his lap. You quickly got comfortable and laid your blanket over the both of you, snuggling into his warmth.

Sam hummed softly and you looked over at the book Sam was reading. It was another one of your favorites. "I like that book," you told him and he nodded, pulling the book back into his lap. "I know you do, that's why I wanted to read it," he replied, and you smiled up at him. You opened the book you had and began reading the first few sentences, but you felt Sam's eyes on you the entire time.

"What?" you asked him, looking up into his hazel eyes. "You're amazing, you know that?" he told you, placing his thumb on your cheek that was slightly heating up. You looked down for a moment. "Hey," Sam stated, making you look back up at him. He placed his lips on yours and you hummed softly.

You could stay like this forever. You smiled into the kiss and turned your head slightly, deepening the kiss. Sam ran one of his hands through your hair and tugged softly, and you did the same with his hair. It was one of his favorite things that he liked to do to you and he loved it when you did it to him.

You both soon pulled away for air and Sam stated, "I love you." You smiled and pecked his lips before replying, "I love you more." "Not possible," Sam replied, a smile making its way onto his face. You just chuckled at him before looking away and stating playfully, "Stop it, I'm trying to read."

Sam laughed a little as he nodded his head, signaling he would stop, even though you knew in another few minutes he would tell you how much he loved you again. That was what you loved about Sam. He never stopped making you feel loved.

You shot him a playful warning glance before leaning back into his chest and you both began reading from your books. However, after a few minutes, it was you who broke the silence. "Sam," you said, looking up to him. He hummed in response and seemed to finish his sentence before looking into your eyes.

"When I die, if I go to Heaven, I want it to be this moment, here with you," you told him, placing your finger in the dent of his chin. He smiled fondly at you and replied, "When we die, and we both go to Heaven, we'll be together. I'll make sure of it."

You smiled and kissed him softly. This was the only man you ever needed. The perfect man, and he felt the exact same way about you. After another moment, you went back to reading with the fire softly lighting the room and the sound of rain hitting the window. That's how you and Sam spent the rest of the day because there was no need for you to do anything else.

Why try to jampack doing things in one day when you both knew you had the rest of eternity to spend together.

Hello my little monsters,
