~Two Months Ago~

You laughed as you slammed back another shot of pure vodka, a playful glint sparkling in both yours and Gabriel's eyes. "I will admit you are holding your liquor better than I expected," he told you making you laugh. "I told you," you replied, feeling the liquor hit you hard. You could barely focus and you knew Gabriel was at the very least tipsy.

"Maybe we should call it a night," Gabriel told you, seeing how far gone you were. You smiled and nodded your head, standing up from the bar stool and immediately almost toppling over, but Gabriel's strong arms wrapped around you, keeping you upright.

You blushed at the proximity of your bodies, remembering how much of a crush you had on the archangel. You tried to balance yourself but failed horribly. Gabriel's grip tightened around you and in an instant you were standing in your bedroom with Gabriel.

He was looking down at you with adoration and a heat in his eyes you had never seen before. You looked up into his eyes with the same look and the next thing you knew, his lips were crashed down onto yours. You immediately placed your hands in his hair, tugging slightly and pulling him closer as his tongue fought for dominance. You bit his lip softly as he pulled off his shirt.

You did the same to yours and he laid you down on the bed, stripping off your bra. He trailed kisses down your jaw, neck and chest making sure to spend extra time on each of your breasts before he kissed down your stomach and right above the button on your jeans.

He looked up at you and when you gave him a reassuring smile he undid your pants slipping both them and your panties off in one quick motion. Gabriel sat you down at a table, placing a kiss on your cheek as he went to go get you and him a drink. You smiled after him and distracted yourself by watching whatever was on the TV in the bar. After a few minutes passed by you looked back over towards Gabriel to see what was taking so long when you saw him talking to a beautiful brunette at the bar. Talking was an understatement. More like very obviously flirting.

You watched as she laughed and touched his arm, letting her fingers slide down it. Meanwhile, he leaned in closer towards her, looking as irresistible as ever. You scoffed as jealousy surged through you and left the bar without even giving Gabriel an explanation.

Opening the door to your motel room, you saw Gabriel already standing there, looking more worried than ever. "Y/N? Where the hell were you?!" he asked, walking up to you and pulling you into a hug.

"Nowhere," you replied. "I thought something took you! One second you were there and the next second you were gone," Gabriel told you. "Well I'm sorry I had to cut your night short," you snapped back, pushing past him and grabbing a beer from the fridge. "What does that mean?" Gabriel asked you, confusion filling his expression.

"Nothing," you replied, remembering what you and Gabriel had was just casual sex. Nothing more. Gabriel stood in front of you, tucking his fingers under your chin as he wore a frown. "Talk to me," he pleaded but you pushed his hand away.

"There's nothing to talk about. If you want to go sleep with random girls from bars than who I am to stop you," you stated, sitting down on the bed. "Y/N," he began, but you cut him off, your jealousy turning anger into rage.

"No, Gabriel, really. You don't owe me an explanation. If you want to go, feel free to," you replied. Gabriel sat down next to you and cupped your cheek in his hand. "Where is this coming from?" he asked. "I'm just saying, we both knew this was casual sex. So if you want to sleep with her, I'm fine," you replied.

"You don't look fine," he said. You looked into his eyes and then let out a sigh before standing up. "No, I'm not fine! How can I be fine? That girl is beautiful and supermodel looking and I'm just me. I'm just...," you started but trailed off.

"You're just what?" Gabriel asked. You paused before looking at him. "I'm just the girl who fell in love with you," you stated, bracing yourself for his rejection. Gabriel immediately stood up and walked over to you pulling you into him as he placed a kiss on your lips.

"You're in love with me?" he asked. "Yes," you replied. He smiled before telling you, "I love you too." You looked confused and then asked, "But the girl in the bar?" "She was a demon who had some information on Lucifer. I was just trying to get that information from her," Gabriel explained and a small blush covered your cheeks as you realized your mistake.

"I'm sorry," you told him. "It's okay. Why didn't you tell me how you felt sooner?" he asked. "I didn't want to risk losing you," you replied and he gave you a dopey smile. "You are the most beautiful girl in the world. I would never say no to being with you," Gabriel told you making you smile as he pulled you into another kiss, reassuring you of his love. You smiled into the kiss and poured your love for him into it as you realized that you had nothing to be jealous of, because you had your angel and he had you. Nothing else mattered.
