Imagine: You are captured by a demon who tells you things like you are ugly and fat and Castiel comes and saves you.

Trigger Warning

You were in a room that looked like a dungeon, chained to a chair. You silently cursed yourself for being such an easy target. You were out getting pie for the eldest Winchester. He had just left Lisa and was feeling super down so you wanted to make him feel better, and the best way to do that was pie.

So you went to the nearest store and bought some, but as you were on your way out of the store, you were attacked by demons. You did your best to fight them off, but with no weapon, you ended up getting captured. Now, here you were, chained up in a dungeon about to be tortured by demons.

"What do you want?" you asked the demon who was standing in front of you. "What does every demon want? Information on the Winchesters and their pet angel, Castiel," he replied. "Well, good luck with getting that information out of me," you replied. "You'll talk, they always do," the demon responded, holding up a knife in a menacing way.

You smirked as you told him, "Do you honestly think that scares me? I'm a hunter, I'm used to torture." "We'll see," the demon responded. You let out a sigh as the demon began torturing you. He tortured you in every way he knew how, but you refused to say anything, you barely even made a noise when he was torturing you.

Frustrated, the demon slammed his knife down on the small tray that was filled with various other torture devices he had already used on you. "You're tougher than I thought," he muttered. You stayed quiet and shifted, trying to take some of the pain you were feeling away. The demon suddenly looked at you with hope glistening in his eyes.

"What?" you questioned. "Nothing, I'm just wondering, why do you stay with them anyway?" the demon asked. "They're my family," you responded. "Really? Because they don't see you in the same way. You're just an expendable hunter," the demon told you. "You don't know anything about what they think," you spat back.

This demon had found it, your weak spot. You could handle whatever torture the demon had planned for you, but what he was saying right now was something worse. You already thought the worst of yourself, but hearing someone say that the people you loved and cared about thought of you as nothing was heartbreaking, even if those words were coming from a demon.

"Think about it, Y/N, you are completely useless," the demon said. "Shut up," you replied. "You're ugly, fat, and stupid. The only reason the Winchesters keep you around is because they feel bad for you. And as for Castiel, well everyone knows that you have a major crush on him, including the trench-coated angel himself," the demon told you, making your heart stop.

The demon just used all of your worst insecurities against you. Could Castiel really know that you were in love with him? It was impossible. You always did your best to hide your feelings from him, and if he did know wouldn't he have talked to you about them? "He's never going to feel the same way, you know. None of them even like you, as a matter of fact, they all think that if I killed you right now, I would be doing them a favor," the demon stated, making a tear slip from your eye.

The demon smirked and was about to continue when suddenly another voice said from behind him, "You're wrong." You looked up to see Castiel standing there, and the demon glowed a bright orange as Castiel smote him.

Castiel then walked over to you and broke your chains before placing two fingers on your head and healing your wounds. "Are you okay, Y/N?" Castiel asked. You nodded your head and he said, "Come on, let's take you home."

'Home," you thought to yourself. You thought of the Bunker as home, but what if it was just a temporary arrangement until the Winchesters were ready to toss you to the side. In a matter of moments, you were back there, and Dean and Sam immediately engulfed you in a hug. "Thank God you're okay," Sam whispered. 'What if he was just saying that?' you couldn't help but wonder.

"Is everything okay?" Dean asked when you didn't say anything. You were going to tell them what the demon said, but you didn't know if you were ready to face the truth. So, instead, you told them, "I'm going to be in my room."

You then walked away, leaving the three boys very confused as you walked to your room. When you got there, you shut the door and laid down on your bed. 'Ugly.' 'Fat.' 'Stupid.' The demon's words echoed through your head like a broken record. Tears slipped from your eyes as your mind took these words and believed them.

You thought about the Winchesters just using you. You thought about Castiel never feeling the same way about you, and soon the thoughts were too much for you to handle. You picked up your knife and thought about the promise you had made yourself a few years ago. You weren't going to do this anymore. But, this time, you couldn't resist.

You slid the knife's sharp edge across your arm and watched as the blood ran down your arm. You continued as more tears fell. You closed your eyes when suddenly a deep voice said, "Y/N?" Your eyes snapped open to reveal Castiel standing there. Your eyes widened as you quickly tried to hide the cuts, but it was too late.

"What are you doing?" Castiel asked, walking over towards you and sitting next to you on the bed and gently taking your arms in his hands. "You should have knocked, Cas," you whispered, looking down because you were embarrassed and ashamed.

"Why are you doing this?" Castiel questioned. "Because he was right," you responded. "Who was?" he asked, slightly cocking his head in confusion. "The demon," you muttered. "What did he tell you?" Castiel asked. You blinked harm causing another tear to fall before looking Castiel in the eyes.

"He said I was ugly and fat and stupid. He said that the only reason you and Sam and Dean keep me around is because you feel bad for me," you told Castiel, leaving out the part about Cas never feeling the same way about you, before looking back down again.

Castiel placed two fingers under your chin and lifted your head up, forcing you to look at him. "Do you honestly believe that abomination?" Castiel asked. You just nodded your head. "Y/N, you are the most beautiful and smart human being I have ever met. You are so kind and generous and you put everyone else first. You are perfect. Sam, Dean and I don't stay with you for charity, we stay with you because we love you. You're family," Castiel told you, making more tears fall, but not sad tears this time, happy tears.

But, your mind couldn't forget about the part with Castiel. "There's something you're not telling me. What is it?" Castiel asked, dropping his hand. It's now or never you thought. "I have to tell you something, Cas, and I already know how you are going to feel about it, but I just need to tell you," you said, barely above a whisper.

"You can tell me anything," Cas stated. "I'm in love with you, and I know that you don't feel the same way, but it's like everytime I see you, I can't focus on what I'm supposed to be doing because I'm making sure that I look good, or I'm looking to see if you're staring at me," you told him.

A smile just appeared on Cas' face and you suddenly felt extremely embarrassed, so you hid your face with your hands and whispered an apology. Castiel gently moved your hands from your face, and you stopped breathing as you waited for Castiel to say something.

But, he didn't say anything, he just leaned in and placed a kiss on your lips. You kissed back immediately and Cas deepened the kiss. After a moment, you both broke away and Castiel told you, "I've been in love with you since the moment I first saw you," Castiel told you. You smiled happily as you pulled Castiel into another kiss. You felt like you were in a dream you never wanted to wake up from, but when you opened your eyes, he was still there.

This wasn't a dream, it was reality. The man of your dreams loved you back, and you've never been happier. Castiel stayed with you the rest of the night, making sure you knew how beautiful he thought you were and how much he truly loved you.
