Imagine: You and the Winchester go to a karaoke bar after a hunt and you decide to do karaoke. The karaoke song you choose is Come Together by the Beatles (covered by Jennel Garcia).

"Yes!" you exclaimed excitedly as you hopped into the back of the Winchesters' Impala. You got comfortable in the back as Dean got into the driver's seat and Sam got into the passenger seat, both with smiles on their faces.

"Aren't you happy," Dean said with a smirk as he turned the key to the car, listening to her engine roar to life. "Yes, I am and you should be too," you replied. You and the Winchesters had been hunting a vampire nest for the past three weeks. Every time you felt like you were close, they were always one step ahead of you.

Eventually, they had decided to come to a town where a fellow hunter lived. He gave you and the Winchesters the tip on their locations, and one hack-and-slash night later, the case was closed. "She deserves to be happy, Dean. We all do after the hell we've been putting ourselves through to find the nest," Sam stated, defending you.

"Exactly! See, Sammy gets it. We should go out and celebrate." you told the brothers. "Well, I'll never say no to a beer," Dean said, making a large smile spread across your face. "That's the spirit, Dean," you told him, making him chuckle.

You spent the next twenty minutes in the car in silence, all three of you needing some time to relax after the hunt. Suddenly, Dean pulled into a parking lot, pulling Baby into a spot and parking her.

You looked out your window to see a small building standing in front of you. "Knockout Karaoke Bar" read the big neon sign on the building. Although it was a small bar, it seemed to be pretty busy; most likely, due to regular customers. "Ready?" Dean rhetorically asked as he opened his door and got out of the car.

Sam followed suit, opening the door for you and helping you out of the car. The three of you then walked into the bar. Your senses were immediately filled with alcohol and drunkards sprawled around the bar. But, the atmosphere was relaxed. Everyone seemed to be minding their own business and having fun with their friends.

You and Sam grabbed a table while Dean got drinks. You looked at the karaoke stage that was set up and noticed that it actually had pretty nice equipment for what seemed to be a bit of a run-down bar.

"My name is...J-Jamie...and I'll be singing I'll Always Love You by Whitney Houston," a woman slurred out as she held onto the microphone stand for dear life, unable to balance by herself. You mentally facepalmed as you prepared yourself for the trainwreck that was about to happen.

The music began playing, and surprisingly, the woman didn't have a bad voice. She did a decent job of seeing the song. That was until she hit the chorus. Then she was a one-note wonder. It made you curious how somebody could start off so strong only to get so off-key.

Everyone in the bar began to cringe as the woman hit the high note. Well, more like missed the high note and instead sounded like a car coming to a screeching halt. Nevertheless, when she finished everyone clapped and the woman thankfully got off the stage.

"Well, Dean, I never pegged you for a karaoke guy," you teased, making him give you a fake smile. "It was the closest bar, and don't judge, it's not like you have the courage to do what that woman did," Dean defended, not thinking about his words before they came flying out. Your jaw dropped in offense as you asked, "Excuse me?"

Sam shifted awkwardly in his chair as Dean cleared his throat. "I mean...uh...," Dean trailed off, unable to find the words to save himself from this conversation. "What do you mean, Dean? You don't think I'm brave enough to sing a song? I fight monsters daily, but no, I can't handle standing up in front of a bunch of drunk people who won't even remember the night," you rambled on, getting defensive as you felt the alcohol begin to kick in.

"I don't think he meant it like that, Y/N, how about we just talk about it tomorrow when we don't have alcohol in our system," Sam suggested, trying to de-escalate the situation. But, you were too stubborn to let it go.

So, instead, you stood up from the table and began walking away. "Y/N, wait. Where are you going?" Dean asked. You ignored him and walked right up to the karaoke stage. You went to the music player and looked through the songs, finally coming to a decision. You chose the song Come Together by The Beatles.

You took your place at the microphone stand and didn't even bother to introduce yourself. The music started playing and you began singing the song perfectly. It had been a song you always loved and would sing all the time to yourself.

You closed your eyes and let yourself get lost in the music, not letting stage-fright play any factor in your performance. Before you knew it, you were singing the final notes of the song. When you were done, everyone was on their feet, cheering for you.

You felt a blush rise to your cheeks at the attention and then noticed the shocked faces of the Winchesters. You smirked to yourself, feeling like you had all the confidence in the world, and then walked off the stage. You pulled some cash out of your wallet as you walked back to your table.

You placed the cash on the table in front of Dean and told him, "I'll be waiting at the car." Then, without hesitation, you walked out of the bar, to the Impala. You leaned against the car, letting the cold air nip at your skin - a welcome change from the hot, musty air inside the bar.

A few minutes later, you felt the presence of two others lean against the car next to you. You didn't know what to say so you stayed silent, looking at the ground. "I'm sorry," Dean said. You looked to your right to make eye contact with him.

"It's okay, it's just you know I don't like being told I'm not brave enough to do stuff. I've worked my whole life to prove to people that I can do whatever I want to do," you replied. "We know that Y/N and neither of us would say anything to intentionally belittle you," Sam stated from your left. You turned your head to give him a small smile.

You then returned your attention to the ground, the three of you sitting in comfortable silence. After a few more minutes, Dean told you, "Although, I have to say you sing really good." "It's unbelievable, right?" Sam added, both of the brothers laughing as a large blush rose to your face.

"Shut up! It was a one-time thing, let's never talk about it again," you replied, trying to hide your face. "Oh no, that's a secret we're going to share with everyone," Dean stated with a smirk, earning a push from you.

"Let's just go," you said, opening the door to the back. "Only if you sing on the way home," Sam replied. You rolled your eyes at the brothers and got into the car. They got in a few seconds later and Dean immediately turned on the music.

He looked at you with an expectant look and you let out a sigh, doing your best to ignore him. "There's something wrong with the engine Y/N, it seems to be only running on the power of your voice," Dean stated. "You're ridiculous," you responded. Dean shrugged in response as Sam was laughing to himself.

However, when you realized Dean wasn't going to start driving until you began singing, you gave in, wanting to go home. After the first couple of minutes, Dean and Sam joined in, the three of you singing whatever song came on, laughing while you did it. All in all, it was a pretty good night.
