The Winter Soldier's screams were drowned out by the command words read by his handler. The screaming stopped as the metal disks on the side of his head were switched off and risen.

"Добрый вечер, солдат."("Good evening Soldier.") Vadim Ivanov stated waiting for a reply.

"Я готов отвечать."("Ready to comply.") The Winter Soldier replied without a second thought.

"У меня есть миссия. Вы будете тренировать два новых актива, добавленных в программу «Зимний солдат». Они прибудут через несколько часов. Вы будете работать с ними над будущими миссиями и тренироваться с ними. Вы понимаете?"("I have a mission. You will be training two new assets added to 'The Winter Soldier' programme. They will be arriving in a few hours. You will work with them on future missions and train with them. Do you understand?") Ivanov explained to the Soldier who knew he had no choice but to comply.

"да."("Yes".) The Soldier replied. He was then handed a book by a scientist in the room. He flicked through it and looked up at Ivanov with a confused expression written upon his face.

"Эта книга учит вас русскому и английскому языку жестов, так как одно из достоинств - не говорящее. Он общается, подписывая."("This book teaches you Russian and English sign language as one of the assets can't speak. He communicates by signing.") Ivanov answered the Soldier's unasked question.

Ivanov signalled the Soldier to follow him. They walked down the corridor into a room. This room contained three beds, a bookshelf full of books, a small wardrobe and three bedside tables each with a small gas lamp. There was a door which led to a small bathroom containing a toilet and shower which was obviously running on cold water. The Soldier stepped into the room and Ivanov shut the door and locked it up.

The Winter Soldier walked over to a bed and sat down on it. He began to read through the book making sure he understood the basic sign language in Russian. He studied this for the next couple of hours until he heard the door unlock and open. He watched as two children, who looked no older then 6, be pushed into the room. The door once again slammed shut and they all waited for the click of the door lock to show that they were trapped there together.

The Soldier, who was still sitting on the bed, stared at the two newcomers. The two children began to study the Soldier. One thing that stood out to them was his metal arm. It was shining in the reflection of what light from the gas lamp that was on the Soldier's bedside table . This arm should have intimidated the children, but it didn't. They simply shrugged it off and walked to a bed each. He continued to study the two of them as they laid down on their own beds and found as much comfort and warmth as they could under the paper thin bedcover.

The Soldier went back to finishing off the basics of Russian sign language. His brain was adapted to absorb any given information quickly so learning the basics was a breeze for him. After finishing off his learning, he put the book down and switched off the lamp. His thoughts continued to run through his head. He wondered why there were two children sharing a cell with him. They were too innocent to be in a place like this. His thoughts continued to run until he settled down to sleep.

The three assets woke up to a bang on the door.

"вставать!"("Get up!") The guard shouted. The three of them immediately shot out of their beds. The Soldier walked to the wardrobe and grabbed the largest sized training outfit and a pair of black training shoes that were also the largest size there. He then headed to the bathroom and shut the door.

"Where are we?" Nishcheta questioned in a whisper to herself.

Razrusheniye looked around the room. He noticed a book on the table where the mysterious man once slept. He went over and flicked through the book. Looking up at Nishcheta, he saw she was looking at him.

'I believe we are in Russia. This book explains sign language in Russian and English. I believe the metal arm man is training with us.' Razrusheniye began to explain. Nishcheta nodded and looked through the wardrobe. It was full of clothes that appeared to be for training and missions. Each outfit looked to have come in three different sizes after watching the strange man take an outfit already that was identical to others still in the cupboard. She took out the smallest size of what looked like to be a pair of black training shorts and plain black t-shirt. She glanced at the floor of the wardrobe and saw 5 pairs of footwear: 2 pairs of training shoes that yet again were black and in different sizes as well as three pairs of black boots.

"I think we have to get changed into these." She said pulling out the remaining pair of shorts and t-shirt that were slightly bigger then the one she was holding in her hands. Razrusheniye walked over to her and took the bigger outfit out of her hands after giving her a nod of thanks.

They both changed out of their old training outfits and put on the matching shorts and t-shirts. The shorts on Nishcheta were tight fitted and reached her mid-thigh with her black t-shirt tucked into them. The shirt was a snug fit on the both of them. Razrusheniye's shorts still reached his mid-thigh but weren't as tightly fitted as Nishcheta's. They shoved their feet into the plain black training shoes that they had been provided with. Nishcheta took the hair-tie from her wrist and gathered her curly hair into a pony tail so it wouldn't get in the way of her training.

The Soldier stepped out of the bathroom wearing a replica of what Razrusheniye was dressed in. They all continued to look at each other none of them daring to speak first. That was until Razrusheniye began to sign to the Soldier in Russian.

'Меня зовут Разрушение, а это Нищета. Как вас зовут?'('My name is Razrusheniye and that is Nishcheta. What is your name?') The Soldier looked at him. Thinking back to the book, he understood what he was saying.

"Меня зовут «Зимний солдат» или сокращенно солдат."("I get called 'The Winter Soldier' or Soldier for short.") He replied catching the attention of the young girl. Just as she was about to speak, the door burst open to reveal Zola and Ivanov. They both walked into the small room.

The three inmates responded by standing in a line with their heads held high.

"Nishcheta and Razrusheniye," Zola began. "I will be leaving you two in the hands of Ivanov from now on. You are to listen to his command as if it was my own. Beside you is the Winter Soldier whom will be training you and leading you on missions. I will come in and check on the two of you every now and then."

Without leaving any room for a reply, Zola turned on his heal and headed out of the cell.

"Идите в тренировочную комнату, где вас ждет инструктор."("Go to the training room where there is an instructor waiting for you.") Ivanov commanded before leaving.

The two young assets looked up to to the Soldier who only walked out without taking any notice of them. Releasing a sigh, Nishcheta looked towards her partner who only shrugged in response before following behind the Soldier. She followed soon after.

Neither of them knew what to expect.
