Berlin, Germany- 2016
The duo remained in silence on the ride to Berlin. With their hands cuffed together, Raz wouldn't have been able to communicate with Nish. They just starred out the windows taking in the scenery and city they had driven through. Both of them knew where they were and knew exactly where they were going.
Upon arriving at the base where American Task Forces were working from in Berlin, Nish and Raz were each dragged out of the truck. Guns remained pointed at them and two agents had a hold of each of them as they guided them through the base. They walked past Bucky who was still in a glass container. Nish wanted to sign to him but couldn't due to the restrains on her hands. She knew that both her and Raz could get out of these cuffs and escape but they couldn't leave without Bucky. The moment they break him out, the orders for shoot to kill would be reinstated. That was a risk she couldn't take.
They were guided towards the small group of 'criminals' who were having a conversation with a man with greying hair and a blonde agent.
"Where are we putting these two?" one of the guards holding Raz asked which interrupted their conversation.
The group looked towards the two children who still had handcuffs and guns pointing at them as well as a whole entourage of armed agents. All of them knew who they were from the leaked HYDRA files, but what they weren't aware of is that they couldn't be killed.
Nish and Raz read through their file and found out that stuff written in Zola's books were never copied into their online files. They guessed it was still locked in Zola's safe along with their journals in Siberia.
"Into the interrogation rooms. Make sure they are split up and have two guards outside their doors at a time." Everett Ross, the Deputy Task Force Commander, replied.
"Yes sir." The agent replied as he yanked on Raz's arm to lead them towards the interrogation rooms.
Steve noticed the hint of fear that appeared in the boy's face upon mentioning of the room and quickly observed the murderous look that the girl shot towards the agents and Commander. He almost gulped at how scary it looked. He has never witnessed a more evil look then what he was seeing in the girl's eyes.
As they watched them get dragged away, he looked back towards Bucky. Bucky watched in anger as they dragged the two children out the room. Steve then followed Ross out of the room down a different corridor than the children had previously gone.
He walked through a glass tunnel whilst Ross talked to them but he wasn't listening. His mind was thinking about his best friend and the two mystery children.
Steve then noticed Natasha walking towards them.
"For the record, this is what making things worse looks like." She sighed as she turned around and matched with his pace.
"He's alive." He replied without looking at her. "What's going to happen to the other two?" He asked.
"That's classified." She said with no emotion as the continued to walk towards their destination.
They walked into a room which had a glass office in the centre. On the walls were many TVs each with a different security footage.
"Try not to break anything while we fix this." Nat stated whilst walking in-front of them.
"Consequences? You bet there'll be consequences." Tony said into the phone whilst looking at the group that had just arrived. "Obviously you can quote me on that, because I just said it. Anything else?" He asked as he walked down the stairs of the glass office. "Thank you, sir." He finished with as he cut off the call.
