HYDRA Base, Siberia- 1995
After returning back to the real world from being stored away for 4 years, the duo looked around the room and noticed that 6 of the chambers still contained the 6 other Winter Soldiers.
"У меня есть для тебя миссия. Санкционируй и Извлекай. Без свидетелей."("I have a mission for you. Sanction and extract. No witnesses.") Karpov commanded whilst handing them a file.
The duo was escorted onto a military plane after being equipped with the right gear. They both looked through the file on their 4 targets and the information they needed to get. They were tasked to retrieve the cognitive data that was kept at the North Institute. This Institute was an undercover HYDRA base which they used S.H.I.E.L.D. to cover up with. It was now in smithereens after the data had successfully been stolen. The 4 targets were a family of 4 who in reality were 4 spies that were affiliated with the Red Room. They had lived in Ohio for the past 3 years and were now getting ready to leave.
As they reached their destination at an airstrip, they noticed the family jump out their car and pull a cover off a small plane. The duo jumped out the plane mid-flight landed a fair distance away from the family. They were to remain in the shadows as instructed by Zola many years ago. Their existence remained a secret to the world; only the Head of HYDRA and the people working at the base knew of their existence. Any information on them was buried deep within the HYDRA data base that no hacker could ever get into.
They observed the car that had pulled up and watched as the 3 females clambered into the plane as the Soviet Union's Super Soldier attempted to gun down the car.
Razrusheniye shot from the side line aiming at the soldier. He sent a hit to his leg and arm causing the soldier to let out a yell in pain but his hold on the rifle remained tight. He continued to shoot at the car still unaware from where the bullets hitting him came from.
Noticing that the plane had started to drive down the runway, Nishcheta took off from her hiding place next to her partner. She overtook the planes speed and began to shoot at the habitants inside. The next thing she knew, Razrusheniye was running right next to her after the Red Guardian had jumped onto the wing of the plane. This meant that they could no longer shoot at the people in the plane as the position he was in covered it.
If they shot him, he would probably die. They needed all 4 of them alive so they could know exactly where the data is before they kill them.
Noticing that there were another two cars heading towards the plane, the Super Soldier started shooting at them. Nishcheta took his distraction as a sign to start shooting inside the plane again. She then heard the scream of a women followed by the scream of a child. She looked to her side and noticed that Razrusheniye had shot at one of the children.
They could sense that they were running out of time so they decided to throw a tracker onto the plane as a precaution if it crashed in the middle of its journey. 3 of the 4 people were bleeding out so if they had a long journey, they would never make it without any medical assistance meaning they would need to stop.
The duo stood there and watched as the two cars were destroyed. This gave the plane a chance to take off. They studied as the plane faded into the distance. They knew at this point that they had failed a mission. They knew they would be punished by Karpov for failing.
They noticed movement underneath the wreckage of the cars. Listening closely, they could detect the heartbeat of one survivor. Razrusheniye walked over to the struggling man with Nishcheta slowly following behind. The soldier looked up at the two masked figures wearing all black with a red star on their bicep. He gulped in fear.
In HYDRA, there were many stories told about an assassin duo who worked closely with the famous Winter Soldier. Every story told was different, but none of them told the real story of the invincible assassins being children. This was because anyone who ever saw them never lived to tell the story. The Ghost story of the Winter Soldier, that was spread throughout multiple organisations including S.H.I.E.L.D. never included that there was evidence he had two other people working alongside him in the 50s so the duo remained a myth within HYDRA believing that they never existed.
This man knew the stories of the duo. Noticing the red star which replicated the Winter Soldier's red star alerted the man that the stories were true. Before he could get a chance to say anything, Razrusheniye fired a bullet straight through his head causing him an instant death. He was just another victim of the duo who never lived to tell their true story.
"We are going to be in so much trouble when Karpov finds out." Nishcheta blurted out.
'I mean if we send them the tracker location and then they should be able to intercept them before they get to their destination.' Razrusheniye replied.
"I guess that could work. We need to get back to the plane quickly though before they get to their destination!" She shouted as she began to sprint away. Razrusheniye was on her tail.
Once they got to the plane, they sent a coded message back to the base along with details of the tracker. They sat around and waited for a reply but none came. The plane took off. The duo quickly concluded that the absence of replies meant that they had intercepted the flight or that they had failed to do so in time.
Landing back in Siberia, the duo immediately headed towards the barred chamber knowing that their fate awaited in the room. They noticed Karpov standing there with two soldiers. Each of the two soldiers were holding a needle. The partners looked at them with fear glistening in their eyes, they knew exactly what this serum was. They hadn't faced it since the first and only time in 1955 which was a warning. They could still remember the mental torture they had endured under this serum.
"Вы знаете, почему вы получаете это." ("You know the reason why you are receiving this.") The two soldiers walked up to the assassins as Karpov continued. "Это научит вас не ошибиться в следующий раз." ("This will teach you to not fail next time.") They were injected with the serum causing them to pass out and fall to the floor.
They started to watch all the dark events that had happened in their short life. It was a dream- like trance but it was all a nightmare. They knew that they wouldn't wake up for another hour. Nishcheta watched over and over again the effects that the serum had own her and the experienced she faced whilst in the White Room. Razrusheniye faced the trauma of what he went through in that dark cell and all the lives he took. They felt like they had been in there for years but it had only realistically been an hour.
They both shot up from the floor of the barred chamber. They could feel their cheeks were wet from the tears that they had subconsciously released. They noticed two guards in the room who immediately grabbed them both up and into the room full of the Cryostasis Chambers. They were forced into their own chairs as scientists proceeded to prepare them to go under.
After a couple of minutes, the yellow chambers dropped around them which was immediately followed by a freezing breeze which put them both into a cryogenic stasis.
None of them would ever comprehend what was yet to come.
