The Raft, Atlantic Ocean- 2016

Nish was in her cell doing pirouettes as the time continued to tick by. Despite the immense torture that she had gone through in the White Room, she still loved the art of ballet.

Just outside the escape door, Steve, Nat and Raz were taking down guards and turning off communications and cameras whilst Bucky was waiting in the jet.

After walking away from Tony, Steve and Bucky met up with Raz and T'Challa who had restrained Zemo onto one of the jets. T'Challa gave them a location for them to meet at in 24 hours and gave them a head start before he went to help Tony and take him and Zemo back to Berlin where Ross was waiting.

Raz bandaged up Bucky's wounds after removing the bullet in his shoulder and watched as Nat, who now had short blonde hair, walked onto the jet and share the location of the Raft. All 4 of them headed to the location and Raz hacked into the system which allowed them to land there safely.

After all the guards had been knocked out, Raz opened the door to the cells whilst Nat went to get Wanda out of her cell. Steve entered first followed by Raz a few seconds later.

Sam turned around and smirked at the sight of Steve as he walked to the glass that separated the two. Nish stopped her turns upon seeing Raz walk to her. They both smiled at each other as the glass opened. She immediately threw herself into his arms and he spun her around.

When he placed her back on her feet, their hug lingered until someone cleared their throat. They both looked towards Steve.

"We need to go." He announced before leaving the room with Sam following behind. Nish said bye to Clint and Scott who were both being transferred back to their families. The twins boarded onto the jet. Nish ran straight to Bucky and embraced him. He reciprocated the action with his one arm.

Once all 7 of them were safely in the jet, they headed to the location that T'Challa had given them. When they arrived there, they were met with a jet from Wakanda and T'Challa standing next to it along with the Dora Milaje general Okoye.

Steve walked over to him with Nish and Raz who were supporting Bucky a few paces behind.

"Thank you so much for agreeing to this." Steve began as he shook T'Challa's hand.

"It is not a problem Captain." T'Challa returned the handshake with a smile. He lead the 4 'fugitives' onto the jet and sat down, encouraging them to do the same.

Okoye flew through the skies and headed for Wakanda. She entered the border and smirked at the shock that was etched onto the faces of the newcomers. She was satisfied with their reactions as she landed outside the castle.

The jet doors opened and Wakandan scientist entered. They headed straight for Bucky and helped him up. Though very hesitant, Nish and Raz let them take him away but they kept a close eye on their actions and followed them to the lab with Steve and T'Challa close behind.

Bucky was taken into a separate room and they allowed him to get changed out of his bloody clothes into a pure white vest and pants. The scientists explained to him in private about what was going to happen to him and he gave his consent. He was then led to a lab with the chamber that was now going to be his bed until he is fixed.

Nish and Raz overheard this conversation and though reluctant, they agreed that this was what was best for him. It meant that he could get a sense of peace as well as closure knowing that he would then have full control of his mind.

Knowing exactly what they had heard he asked everyone in the lab to give them a few moments. After everyone had left, the twins ran straight to him and gave him a hug. He returned it despite only having one arm. When they broke it off, he wiped the tears that had leaked from both pairs of eyes.

"Nothing will happen to me." He started with as he began to give them a sense of comfort and closure. "I won't feel anything, it will just be a deep sleep. As soon as they figure out how to take this shit out of my head, T'Challa will get in contact with you and we will get to finally live that life we have all been dreaming of."

Raz nodded in agreement before hugging him one last time. When the pulled away he signed something that warmed the hearts of the other two. 'I love you.'

"I love you too. Both of you so much." Bucky returned before kissing both of their foreheads.

"Me too." Nish responded after wiping more tears out of her eyes. "I'm so happy I have you as a brother," She looked at Raz before turning to face Bucky. "And you as a папа (papa)." She finished with before smiling at the two she has grown to call family. Bucky let a few tears escape.

"I'm glad I have that position. You two are the one thing I'm glad about that came out of HYDRA, and I'm so proud of you both." He finished as they all wiped the remaining tears in their eyes.

They all shared one final embrace. As they pulled away, scientists flooded the room alongside T'Challa and Steve.

"It is time." T'Challa announced which Bucky responded with a nod.

"You sure about this?" Steve asked still unsure about this whole fiasco.

"I can't trust my own mind. So, until they figure out how to get this stuff out of my head," Bucky looked towards the twins who were watching him closely making sure nothing happened to him. "I think going back under is the best thing. For everybody."

A scientist helped him into the tube-like chamber. Bucky took one last glance at Nish and Raz as the chamber sealed. He closed his eyes and embraced the coldness which lulled him to a sleep.

T'Challa led Nish, Raz and Steve into a quiet room so they could have some peace. Steve walked over to the floor to ceiling window and stood up straight. Nish and Raz took a seat on one of the benches that were pushed against the wall. Nish leaned her head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around hers.

"Thank you for this." Steve gratefully said as he continued to look out the window.

"Your friend and my father, those two," He said referring to the two kids in the room, "They were all victims. If I can help one of them find peace..." T'Challa drifted off into his own thoughts. He began to think of what would happen to Nish and Raz whilst his scientists worked on the only farther figure they knew.

"You know, if they find out he's here, they'll come for him." Steve worried which caused the twins to listen in to T'Challa's response. He replied with a smirk.

"Let them try."
