After Vision muttered those words everyone became even more alert than they already were.
"Everyone, on my position. We have incoming." Steve announced over the comms.
"What the hell?" Nat mumbled at the eerie feeling.
They all stood in silence with weapons at the ready.
Sensing something from behind him, Banner turned around and was greeted with a cloud of grey and blue mist. A large purple alien emerged from the smoke with a golden glove. They all noticed 5 stones glowing on the gauntlet. This only meant one thing, he only needed the mind stone to be able to snap away half the universe.
"Cap." Bruce stated breaking the silence. "That's him."
"Eyes up. Stay sharp." Cap lead as he ran towards Thanos.
Thanos did nothing but walk. Banner ran straight for him but fell right through him into the rocks. Bruce was trapped and couldn't get out.
Thanos then flicked Steve away as if he was a petty fly. He then grabbed hold of T'Challa's neck as he attempted to jump on him. Thanos just slammed The King into the ground. Sam continued the failing assault by firing bullets but it only lead to him being knocked out off the sky.
Nish and Raz had snuck round and ran up from behind him. Thanos could sense this so he turned around and grabbed the two ion them by the neck. He slammed their heads together with his full force causing them to fall unconscious due to the hard impact of their Vibranium skulls hitting each other.
Discarding their bodies, Thanos continued his walk towards Vision and Wanda who were trying to destroy the stone before he could reach them.
War Machine fired all the ammunition he had in his suit towards Thanos but it was no avail; Thanos had yet again manipulated a stone causing Rhodey's suit to squeeze around him. Bucky fired his gun at him only to be quickly knocked off his feet. Okoye threw her spear at Thanos while continuing to sprint with Nat. Then spear was then stopped before it could reach Thanos' chest. She and Nat were then knocked off their feet. Groot came in and wrapped his branches around Thanos' chest only to then be ripped into shreds.
Steve quickly slid underneath the purple alien. He continued to punch Thanos in order to give Wanda enough time to destroy the stone. But alas, though he put up a fight, Captain America's strength was no match for the Titan.
Realising there was no one left, Wanda used her powers onto Thanos so he wouldn't reach her in time.
A pulse of power awoke Nish and Raz from their unconscious state. They both looked at each other before looking towards Thanos and Wanda who was now mourning Vision.
Thanos approached and from a distance, it would seem like he was comforting her, only his words showed no sympathy. He then walked over Wanda towards where Vision had been previously destroyed. Sensing something wasn't right, the twins began to stand up and stealthily walk towards them. But they were stopped when they noticed a green light shine from the gauntlet. This was then followed by a blinding yellow light. A figure then appeared that resembled Vision. They both realised that it was him.
"No!" Wanda screamed only to be knocked into Nish and Raz who were sprinting towards Thanos. This caused all three of them to fall to the floor. They all sat up and watched as Thanos chucked a lifeless Vision to the side, they noticed that there was no longer a yellow stone glowing on his forehead but rather a dent from where it had been ripped out.
Thanos groaned in pain as he placed the final stone onto the gauntlet but seconds later Thor came in and threw his axe into Thanos' chest. Wanda got up and ran to Vision's grey body whilst Nish and Raz ran to Bucky who was starting to get up.
"Are you guys okay?" Bucky asked referring to their head injury. They both nodded in return and helped Bucky onto his feet.
They were then startled by Thor yelling "No!" followed by a white flash.
"What did you do?" Thor asked in panic before asking again in a more authoritative yet urgent tone, "What did you do?!" Thanos yet again didn't reply as he fell away into a cloud of grey and blue smoke.
Bucky headed towards Steve as he began to question Thor. Nish and Raz followed closely behind him.
"Thor. Where did he go?" He once again questioned.
Bucky then noticed something odd. He could see his hand all of a sudden dusting away.
"Steve?" He called out before falling onto the ground as a pile of dust.
Nish and Raz both looked at the scene with wide eyes not being able to comprehend what just happened.
As Steve knelt down in the dust, Raz then looked down towards his hand and noticed the same thing was happening to him. He poked Nish in the shoulder and she looked at him. He held up his dusting arm. Nish began to breathe heavily as she wen into a state of panic.
"No. No. No! Not you as well. I-I-I can't loose you both." She sobbed as Raz pulled her into a hug with the remains parts he had left. "Please don't go. I-I can't." She choked out not being able to finish her sentence. Raz placed a kiss on her cheek as he too turned into dust.
Losing her balance, Nish fell to the ground and let out a heart- wrenching scream before continuing to sob. Nat, Thor and Steve only starred at her still not fully able to realise what is happening. Nat felt her heart clench at the girl's cry, she had never witnessed an assassin who was as motionless as Nish break down. They had all been trained to show no emotion even when a team mate was killed but just by witnessing her cries for help, she could see how much both Bucky and Raz meant to her. She had watched them both be ripped away from her in a matter of seconds.
Nish continued to sit on the floor letting silent tears run down her cheeks. She was begging for herself to be dusted away. She didn't care that everyone else was now surrounding Vision's body. She didn't care that they were all looking at her. She didn't care about their sympathy towards the crying 13 year old who had just lost the only people on her life she called family. The only thing she cared about was Bucky and Raz and they were taken away from her and for that, someone would have to pay.
And that someone was Thanos.
