Also that night, a couple in their twenties went missing. With time, more people are disappearing without a trace, and no one seems to be able to explain why.

You couldn't help but sigh as you continued scrolling down Twitter. Those disappearances were starting to make you feel sick. If you were ever able to find who was responsible for these incidents, you would make sure you showed them a piece of your mind.

"(Y/N)!" You heard a woman's voice call as you looked up from your phone. You found a familiar-looking woman with bright pink hair with green ends and big green eyes walking towards you with a big smile on her face. You noticed she was carrying two drinks with her, one of them being your favorite drink. "I brought you some (f/drink) from the café!"

"Mitsuri..." Your eyes widened at the drink as a big smile spread across your face, "You didn't have to!" Mitsuri rolled her eyes as she patted your head.

"Oh, it's nothing, (Y/N), anything to see that adorable smile of yours!" Mitsuri smiled as you lightly blushed. A few days after meeting Kyojuro, he introduced Mitsuri, one of his very good friends, and before you knew it, you both got along so well, even if you both were very different.

Mitsuri was a graduate of Kimetsu Academy and worked at a café near the school. Every once in a while, Mitsuri would get you a (f/drink); whenever you tried to pay for it, she insisted that it was on her. Mitsuri meant so much to you. Her personality was adorable, and she looked so beautiful all the time. You would not be surprised if she was popular with the boys in high school.

"By the way!" Mitsuri shook your shoulder as you hummed to her in response, sipping your drink carefully, "Kyo-San told me you have caught a cold a few days ago! Please tell me you feel better now!" Mitsuri said with a big worried expression. You have also learned from Mitsuri that she tended to overreact at the smallest situations sometimes, though you didn't mind it much. It was Mitsuri, after all.

"Oh..." you started as the memories of you spending the night at Kyojuro's house with his younger brother crossed your mind, making you blush lightly after remembering everything that has happened, "I'm alright now, no need to worry, Mitsuri."

"Oh, (Y/N), if you ever need to rest, let me know. I'll tell Uzui-san to lighten the work on you." Mitsuri said, but you shook your head, waving your hands vigorously in front of you.

"S-seriously Mitsuri, there's no one—"

"Alright! Everyone listen up!" that caught everyone's attention in the staff room, "If you dare disturb (Y/N) in any way, I will make sure that you all will pay the price." You quickly shoved down Mitsuri onto her seat as you smiled sheepishly at the other teachers in the room who had skeptical looks.

"Sorry, you guys," you chuckled nervously, "You can go back to... whatever you were doing." You then shot a quick glare at Mitsuri, who responded with a 'what?'.

"Mitsuri..." you started, not knowing what to say to the pink-haired woman in front of you until you smiled at her, giving her a soft hug, "I love you." Mitsuri squealed as she hugged you back.

"Didn't I tell you? Anything for my best friend!"

You tightened your grip on your bag as you walked outside the school gates. Mitsuri said she only had one shift to attend, so she would be able to walk home with you.

"(Y/N)!!" Mitsuri called, waving her arms as she jogged towards you. You smiled when your pink-haired friend reached you, "You wouldn't mind if I stay at your place for a while. It's been such a long day and I'm so tired, but my place is three train stations away." Mitsuri cried, holding your arms as she slightly shook them. You smiled at her and nodded.
