"You're more than welcome to stay the night." Senjuro smiled shyly while you carried your damp clothes, "I-I mean if you want. By then your clothes would've dried completely. We have a guest room you can stay in for the night."

"If you guys had a guest room why did I find myself waking up in Kyojuro's room?" you asked the younger boy, raising an eyebrow. Senjuro rubbed the back of his head, his gaze adverting to the right.

"Well... Aniki insisted you stay in his room. He said the heater in the guest room wasn't on, and it seemed like you have caught a cold." Senjuro explained before looking back up at you, "B-but I'll turn it on now! I'm sure the room would be warm enough by the time you decide to go to bed."

Why is he so cute when he stutters?! God, I wanna adopt this kid.

"You and Kyojuro have done more than enough for me. I wouldn't like it if I become a burden on the two of you."  Senjuro's eye's widened as his cheeks turned to a soft shade of pink.

"No! N-not at all!" He gasped, "No one ever comes over." Senjuro held your hands as he gave you a pleading look, his face still dusted with the soft pink color. It had an air of his brother, only younger. In many ways. You mentally groaned as you pictured Kyojuro's pleading eyes staring at you. It's impossible to say no to Kyojuro, and it's certainly impossible to say no to his younger brother as well. Your eyes rolled as you chuckled at Senjuro.

"Well... I guess I have no choice." you say.

"Wait, r-really?" Senjuro asked hopefully as you smiled softly at the younger boy, nodding your head. The eyes of Senjuro sparkled almost like those of his older brother. Senjuro bowed up and down, saying that he and his brother will be great company. Adorable... I want to hug him... Senjuro kept a small, shy smile on his face as he made his way to Kyojuro's room, knocking on the door as he announced you would be staying with them. It was adorable how happy Senjuro looked. You would always see him wearing either a shy or nervous look at Kimetsu Academy. You would do anything for this kid to be happy.

"Ah! Such great news!" Kyojuro yelled, unlocking the door of his room as he threw his fist into the air with his usual big smile on his face. The only problem was that he was still shirtless, and his pants were loose. Additionally, his damp hair was untied, causing each strand to fall aimlessly over his face. Hot... wAiT wHaT-

"KYOJURO WOULD YOU PLEASE PUT YOUR DAMN CLOTHES ON!!!" You yelled angrily, face flushing as you quickly looked to the other side. God, this man might drive you to insanity sooner and later. Just keep it together, (Y/N).

"Oh, right!" Rengoku exclaimed, "Sorry, (Y/N)!"

Since it was a weekend night, Senjuro suggested watching a movie together. You and Kyojuro agreed, and you three ended up watching Big Hero 6. As much as you hated to admit it, you did cry once or twice, but the movie was really good nonetheless, even if you have watched it many times before.

By the end of the movie, Senjuro was snoring softly, resting his head on his brother's shoulder. They're so adorable... my heart. Kyojuro excused himself as he gently lifted his younger brother and carried him back to his bedroom.

You looked around you. You saw they didn't live with their parents. Kyojuro never mentioned them to you. We're they possibly orphans??? Senjuro saw Kyojuro as more of a father figure than an older brother, and Kyojuro acted as a father towards his younger brother. There was a part of you that wanted to ask Kyojuro about it, but then again, maybe it wasn't your business. You did want to help them out...

"Hey, Kyojuro?" You spoke when Kyojuro came back. He hummed in response as he grabbed two water bottles from the fridge, handing you one of them, "I've never heard you talk about your parents." you felt the air around you both tense, making you feel nervous. "I mean- I know it's none of my business to ask about your family, so if you don't want to talk about it it's fine. I was just curious." You quickly started to rant, waving your hands in front of you. Kyojuro shook his head.

"No, you have the right to know, (Y/N). You are my friend after all." He gave you a small smile as he sat down next to you, "But... maybe I'm not ready to talk about it yet..." Kyojuro looked down, hiding his face. He seemed sad... and hurt. You've always seen how happy Kyojuro always looked, but now you've realized all the pain each smile hid. Maybe even a person like Kyojuro could've gone through such a harsh life.

Though, you admired him for it. You admired that he would sulk around, even if he's been through so much. He must've been going through so much pain on the inside, yet he has always tried to push those feelings away, and cherished every little happy moment of his life. You wished you could be someone like him.

You looked down at the floor.

"You know... my relationship with my parents isn't that great... not at all." You chuckled to yourself. Kyojuro slowly looked up to you, letting you know he was listening, "They dumped me at my grandma's the first chance they got and left me until she had to pass on. They made me feel like I was a waste of space when I moved back with them. Heck, they never even bothered giving me a call ever since I moved out"

"Why..."

"Well, I'm pretty sure it's obvious." You laughed lightly, trying to hide the sadness you felt, "I'm practically a nobody. I can't do anything on my own. I couldn't even find myself a decent job god damn it. They must've seen it coming when they first looked at me." You continued weakly as all the memories started flooding in. That day when they left you at your grandma's. The way your dad dragged you there when you were begging him to let you stay with them. You promised you'd be a good girl if they let you stay with them. They'd only lie to you, claiming they were busy and had a lot of traveling to do. You remembered the look of disappointment in their eyes after your grandma's funeral. A look that told you they didn't need you, and they never will. "I haven't heard from them for maybe two years now. I bet they're living their lives." You said bitterly. "I mean, who would want such a useless person like me as their daughter."

Wow, I sure am going all out...

"I mean, you probably don't care or anything so it isn't really important—" you stopped when you noticed a hand caressing your face, wiping away your tears. You didn't even notice you were crying. You looked to your left to find Kyojuro smiling at you, and it wasn't his normal bright smile he'd always wear, no. It was a real smile. One you've never seen before.

"(Y/N), I don't think you're useless... I think you're such an amazing person. Yes, you may be such a pain sometimes," he chuckled to himself, making you chuckle with him as well while you playfully punched his shoulder, "But this is what makes you (Y/N), and I love it. If your parents were never there for you to support you, then I'm always going to be here, and I promise you, I'll stay by your side till the very end." Kyojuro said softly. You felt yourself blush ever so slightly, adverting your gaze to the side to avoid your friend's eyes.

Kyojuro studied your face. The way the strands of your (H/C) hair fell on your face and how your (S/T) glowed, even if you weren't wearing any makeup. That was what he loved the most about you. You were always yourself, and you never cared about what people thought of you. If anything, you were always the one to judge first. Your (E/C) eyes were big, and still glistening from the tears you never noticed were there. He then looked down at your lips. They looked so soft. He wanted to kneel closer to your face and taste your lips.

You both stared at each other for a moment or two, until you realized how close your faces were to each other, making you turn to a very deep shade of red. You quickly pushed yourself away from Kyojuro, standing up. You've never been in such situations. You didn't know why you pulled away.

"Yeah, I think it's best I get to bed now. It's been a long day for me and I'm a little tired and all." You quickly mumbled a good night to your fiery-eyed friend as you scurried to the guests' room, locking the door before stuffing your face into the pillow that was on the bed.

What the hell just happened... what's with this strange feeling I'm getting in my chest?

Meanwhile, Kyojuro stayed in his place, staring into the empty space.

Did I make her feel uncomfortable? He asked himself, stuffing his face into his hands, feeling his warm blush, what on earth was I thinking?
