Walking.

The floors under your feet creak softly as you walk. But you just ignored it and kept walking. Someone was there in your apartment, and you wanted to chase them away. What were they doing there anyway? What did they want from your apartment? The closer you walked towards your room, the farther it seemed to get from you. You suddenly wanted to stop, but you couldn't. Your feet weren't letting you. They were moving without you thinking. Suddenly, you were there, standing right outside the room, the door ever so slightly opened. You peaked through it, seeing two figures, but barely making them out. It was like they were shadows.

"Are you still determined, my lord?" The one on the left asked, "It seems like she has found out. Sooner or later, she'd be a powerful demon slayer. Then—"

"This is why we need to get her as fast as possible. She's still weak. She has no sword skills, and I doubt she mastered her breath of night yet." The other man interrupted the first. His voice sent shivers down your spine and somehow made you feel angry as well. You wanted to know who those two were. Your eyebrows furrowed as you listened more closely.

"What must we do now, my lord?" The first asked.

"For now, we wait." The first man said.

"B-but sir! You said we need to act fast! If we wait longer—"

"With that flame pillar always by her side, it's impossible. You have seen the power this man has over us. We kill him, and while she's heartbroken, we get her." The other man nodded, keeping his mouth shut, "The demon kind will finally have victory! After a thousand long years! All that we needed to be is patient." The man said, before freezing, sending you the chills. He turned around in your direction, his big plump red eyes glowing in the dark.

"Someone's here." He snarled. Walking towards you. You wanted to run, but you couldn't. You had no control over your body. A pair of devilish red eyes stared right into your soul as the door creaked open. A rush of fear swept across your body, all the blood flowing away from your face.

"S-sir! There isn't anyone there!" The person inside said.

"Yes, there is." The man with bright red eyes said, inserting a finger right through your forehead, making you blackout.

You open your eyes again, this time, you found yourself in an unfamiliar area. You looked around. It almost looked like plains, with a forest by the side. You noticed a train fallen to the side as if it has just crashed. There were people around it, looking unharmed. You've realized how they all were dressed up in such traditional clothing. You blinked looking around until your eyes widened in horror. Kyojuro... he was there. He was dressed up in strange clothing, but you didn't care. You rushed towards him, trying to see if he was alright. He wasn't.

He had a smile, a real one, on his face. His left eye looked like it was crushed, covered with blood. His torso was ripped right through, blood heavily leaking out. However, it did not appear that he cared. Instead, he just sat there, smiling. You caught his attention as his eyes widened before he smiled gently at you as if he were going to leave forever.

"I'm sorry, (Y/N)... I promise this would be the last time I apologize to you." He said softly as tears started streaming down your face. You wanted to scream, but no sound came from your mouth. You just stood there in a shook state, unable to move as more tears streamed down your face, watching Kyojuro's soul leave his body.

No... wake up! WAKE UP THIS IS JUST A STUPID DREAM WAKE UP!!!

You jolt out of your bed, full of sweat. You looked around you. You still seemed to be in the room you slept in. It was still nighttime, and it seemed like the sun wasn't planning on rising anytime soon. You let out a shaky breath, hitting your forehead as you thought of the dream you had. Kyojuro... you got up onto your feet, gently opening the door as you left your room, walking towards Kyojuro's room, which was only a few rooms away from yours. You softly opened the door to his room, trying your best not to make any noise. Kyojuro was there, sleeping peacefully. You let out a soft sigh of relief. He's still here... You didn't know what you were thinking. You just walked towards him and got onto his bed, laying down next to him. You couldn't help yourself and just hugged him. Kyojuro softly shifted in his sleep as his eyes slowly opened, meeting your (E/C) ones.

"(Y/N)... what's wrong?" He asked softly, instantly making you feel bad for waking him. You looked down.

"Sorry for waking you like this..." you whispered. Kyojuro shook his head.

"No no, it's alright. Come here..." Kyojuro shifted his position, giving you more space to lay down. You continued hugging him tightly as if he was going to disappear suddenly. Kyojuro played with your (H/C) hair strands, "Was it a bad dream?" You buried your face into his chest, nodding, too embarrassed to admit it face to face. Kyojuro nodded, hugging you tightly, "Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked as you shook your head. Kyojuro nodded, still hugging you. "You were crying, (Y/N)..." he said as you froze. You swallowed the lump in your throat.

"Just promise... promise you won't ever leave me... please." You whispered with a shaky breath. Kyojuro nodded, wondering what you might've dreamt about.

"I'll never leave you, (Y/N), I promise that." Said Kyojuro. You nodded, feeling yourself relax a little now that you know that Kyojuro is safe.

"Can we... can we stay like this for just a little longer?" You mumbled face buried into Kyojuro's chest. Hugging him was so comfortable and felt safe. He was warm and hugged you in such a loving manner. Kyojuro smiled softly as he planted a kiss on your forehead, making your face feel warm.

"We can stay like this for as long as you'd like, (Y/N). I wouldn't mind." Kyojuro said softly, caressing your hair gently. You let out a breath as you closed your eyes, hoping that now you're with Kyojuro, you wouldn't have any bad dreams. You swallowed your saliva. You wanted to tell him, but no sound was coming. You looked up to find that Kyojuro as fallen asleep. You sighed.

I love you.
