"Oh my god, (Y/N)! You're alive!" Mitsuri squealed when she saw you, only to get nudged by a mysterious-looking man with choppy black hair and heterochromia, leaving him with a green-colored eye while the other was yellow-colored. Mitsuri's eyes widened in realization once she noticed Oyakata-sama standing next to you. Mitsuri quietly whispered an apology as she kneeled along with the rest of the pillars. You've noticed that Kyojuro was kneeling as well, with Tengen-sama right next to him. Wow... it seems like even the pillars have such huge respect for Oyakata-sama...

You observed the way all the pillars were dressed up. Kyojuro was still in the same clothes when you first saw him, only this time he was dressed up in a dark grey colored shirt and a black tie. Mitsuri was dressed up in the same way, only her shirt was put in a way that kept her chest exposed, not something you were used to seeing Mitsuri in. Uzui was similar to the two, only he had a black-colored vest to go with his clothing.

You almost gasped when you saw Tomioka-San kneeling along with them, only he was standing alone to the side. Why must he be so lonely like that? Tomioka-San had the same clothing as Tengen-sama, only his vest was mismatched — one side was a dark maroon color with the other had a green and yellow pattern all around it.

The rest of the pillars were people you haven't seen before.

One, for instance, was a man with messy white hair with a giant scar across his face, along with some other scars that spread here and there. He almost looked terrifying to you, letting you know that you shouldn't try messing with him. His uniform was left unbuttoned, leaving his torso exposed, as if he was trying to show off the scars he has earned from training. Damn, and I thought the scars Kyojuro had were already bad enough. The white-haired man almost looked familiar to you, though, yet you couldn't quite put your finger on it.

Next to him stood a large man with no pupils nor irises, making you assume he was blind. You started questioning yourself how someone blind was able to become a pillar, yet again, you reminded yourself how the demon slayer corps would be full of surprises. The blind man had a scar going across his forehead, making you wonder how many scars you might get once you join the demon slayer corps.

The man with heterochromia was wearing a black mask, covering his mouth completely. He had a white snake with scarlet eyes sitting around his shoulders. His different colored eyes seemed to give off a cold stare but would soften whenever he'd look at Mitsuri, letting you know something was up. You couldn't help but wonder whether Mitsuri knew or not.

On the other side of Mitsuri stood a short girl that seemed to be no older than eighteen years old. She had shoulder-length wavy hair that fades from black into dark purple and was put into a flat bun, fastened with a white and purple butterfly ornament. Her violet eyes were big and lacked pupils, reminding you of the eyes of insects. She dressed up in a casual pillar uniform, only her tie was dark purple instead of black. It seemed that, like Kyojuro, the girl had a smile fixed on her face. You had to admit, she was pretty, you almost felt jealous.

Finally, there was a boy that looked so young, you almost started to wonder how could someone his age become a pillar. The boy was short and had a light complexion. He had long black hair that grew to his waist, slowly fading to mint green as it reached the end along with unruly bangs that fell over his forehead. His hair had two clumps slightly popping out from each side of his head. The boy had empty-looking mint green eyes, that seemed to be zoned off.

You blinked at them. Those were the pillars. The highest-ranked demon slayers.

"You may stand now." Oyakata-sama smiled as the pillars slowly rose to their feet. Oyakata-sama's smile softly widened as he looked at the pillars as if they were his children, "Thank you all so much for attending this meeting, as you all may do every six months. I hope you all are doing good." Oyakata-sama started, "As you may see, we have a very special guest joining us today." Oyakata-sama turned to you with a soft smile, and soon, all of the pillars' eyes averted to you as well, making you feel nervous. You've always hated attracting attention to yourself. On top of that, while the pillars, along with Oyakata-sama and the lady with him, were dressed up in such neat clothing, you were just standing there awkwardly in your hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
