"Oh my god, (Y/N)! I missed you so much!" Mitsuri squealed once Oyakata-sama left the room, bringing you into a hug. You smiled at your pink-haired friend as you gently hugged her back, "Was everything alright with you? I was so worried!" Mitsuri exclaimed as she pulled away.

"Everything's going well, I guess... nothing serious." You mumbled, rubbing the back of your head nervously. Mitsuri's eyes sparkled.

"Oh, so you talked to Kyo-San!" Mitsuri said with a wide smile, "What did he tell you?!" She grabbed your arm, her big green eyes filled with curiosity. You blinked at her, before remembering what happened last night, turning your face to a very deep shade of red, making you start to panic. I can't tell her that! It's too embarrassing! You were trying to muster up the right words before Kocho-San came in, saving you.

"So! You're the infamous (Y/N) I've heard so much about!" Kocho-San said with a closed-eyed smile, "It's great to finally meet you! Mitsuri here has been telling me so much about you!" Wait Mitsuri has been talking about me?!

"Nice to meet you too, Kocho-san." You said with an awkward smile plastered on your face. Kocho-san chuckled as she softly waved her hand in front of her.

"Please, just call me Shinobu. It's great to finally have another female friend to hang around with!" Kocho-San said, her closed-eye smile still fixed on her face.

"Alright then, Shinobu it is." you said, nodding. Mitsuri then turned to you with a guilty look.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't tell you the truth sooner, (Y/N)." Mitsuri said sadly, "I tried to ask about when you could know, but I couldn't find an answer! Believe me, (Y/N), I'm more than glad to have you as my best friend!" You smiled as you held Mitsuri's hands.

"It's alright, Mitsuri." You said with a reassuring smile, "I think it was my fault I worried you so much. I think I might've overreacted just a tiny bit." You sweatdropped. Mitsuri gave you a closed-eye smile as she nodded. You and the girls talked to each other for a while. Your discovery that Shinobu was a third-year high school student at Kimetsu Academy was almost unexpected since you had never met her before. It meant you would get to see her more often, so it was good news for you. You three agreed you could get to hang out with each other more often. You, Mitsuri, and Shinobu continued chatting for a while until you felt a hand sit on your shoulder. You turned to your right to find Kyojuro standing next to you with a smile on his face.

"Oh! Hey there, Kyo-San!" Mitsuri smiled, waving at the taller man as Kyojuro gave her a closed-eyed smile.

"You girls wouldn't mind if I steal (Y/N) from you, would you?" Kyojuro asked with his usual bright smile plastered on his face.

"Not at all!" Shinobu said as Kyojuro smiled thanks, pulling you to the corner. You looked up at him, your (E/C) meeting his fiery ones.

"So, what's up?" You ask, folding your arms as you knelt onto the wall, trying your best to act neutral around him.

"The training room is empty right now." Kyojuro simply said. You blinked.

"Wait. We start training now?!" Kyojuro shrugged.

"Well, it does seem like a good time. Since no one's using the training room right now, we have a whole lot of space to practice your sword skills." You uncomfortably shifted in your place, rubbing the back of your head. You and Kyojuro are in a large room alone. How bad can that be, right?

"I guess you're right... are there any specific clothes for training or should I remove my sweatshirt? I've got a t-shirt on, so it can work, right?" Kyojuro nodded.

"T-shirt and jeans are fine for now! Now, the sooner we leave the better." Kyojuro exclaimed as he grabbed your wrist, walking you towards the room's exist. Damn, he seems in a hurry. You silently followed him as you stole one last glance of your grandma's katana while passing it. It was such an elegant katana, having half of the blade a usual silver color, while the other half was of a deep dark blue color, dotted with little bits of white, evoking the night sky. You wanted that blade. Your goal was to slay demons with it. The way Oyakata-sama has described your grandma, it seems like she was a gifted demon slayer. You did not want to disappoint Oyakata-sama, and you certainly did not want to disappoint your grandmother. She was somewhere up there, smiling down on you from her perch. I'll make you proud, Grangran, I promise!

Before you knew it, both you and Kyojuro reached the training room. It didn't look like much, you had to admit, just a slightly large room with a few training wooden katanas. You blinked. This is where you would be training for the next who knows how long.

"Kyojuro?" Kyojuro hummed in response as you watched him remove his jacket and take off his tie as he loosened his collar, "How long have you been training to become a demon slayer?" Kyojuro turned to you as he laughed.

"I don't remember when I wasn't training to become a demon slayer, (Y/N)!" Kyojuro said with a wide smile, before noticing how your face fell. He sighed as he walked towards you, placing a hand on your shoulder, "Hey, I understand that this all has been too much for you to take in, and I know how much weight you're carrying over your shoulders. But you've got to remember that I'll always be here by your side, no matter what! I promise I'll support you for the rest of your life, I swear it on my life!" You slowly nodded as you stared into Kyojuro's fiery eyes. They've always fascinated you. You wanted to kiss him again, just taste his lips one more time, but Kyojuro let go of you as he walked towards the wooden katanas.

"So! Let's start training, shall we?" You nodded as Kyojuro threw to a wooden katana. You barely caught it as you quickly looked up to your fiery-haired friend. Kyojuro's smile widened at you as he nodded, "Now I want you to swing that sword of yours. Just do what you think is right." You blinked in confusion. You have never held a katana before, hence tried to swing one. Kyojuro noticed your confused expression, "Just swing it, (Y/N)! There's no right or wrong here!" You swallowed some of your saliva as you hesitantly nodded. You raised your arms with the wooden katana in hand, before simply swinging the katana down. Kyojuro nodded, folding his arms as he studied the way you moved your katana, before walking towards you.

Your eyes blinked as Kyojuro stood behind you, holding your wrists as he adjusted how you held your wooden katana. His hands slipped around your waist, causing butterflies in your stomach and a deep red flush on your face. While one hand held your wrists, the other was placed on your waist. Kyojuro adjusted your posture. You watched him demonstrate how to swing a sword properly, but all you could think about was how Kyojuro held you. Kyojuro let go of you as he stepped back with a smile. "Here! This stance would give you both balance and more power with each hit!" He noticed your bright red face as he gave you a worried glance. "Is everything alright, (Y/N)?"

"Yes! Everything is okay!" You said, still frozen in the stance Kyojuro left you in. Kyojuro's smile returned as he nodded.

"Great! Now I want you to swing your sword the way I just showed you 150 times!" Your eyes widened.

"WHAT?!"
