You couldn't have been more grateful when you were called by one of Oyakata-Sama's children, letting you know that an important person was waiting for you. You excused yourself as you left your group of... can you call them friends? You weren't sure. You made sure you made no eye contact with Kyojuro before leaving. Your heart was racing. You were pissed over the fact that Mitsuri and Shinobu just exposed you like that after you specifically told them not to. You sighed, thanking the Lord for taking you out of this mess. You didn't even want to think of how you'll have to confront Kyojuro after finishing your meeting with whoever wanted to see you.

You swallowed some of your saliva as you continued to follow the very same child who showed you and Kyojuro the way to Oyakata-sama until you noticed a very beautiful woman who smiled when she saw you, next to her was a very cranky-looking guy. The lady had dark brown hair, parted in the center and worn braided back into a large, low bun, which was held in place by a floral hairpin. She had large, gentle eyes that did not possess pupils, only a haze of lavender that fades to dark purple the higher it goes, and notably red lips in contrast to her pale complexion.

She was dressed up in an elegant dark purple dress, with embroidered wavy pale purple tree branches and red flowers to decorate it. The scowling young man next to her had a pale complexion and lavender purple eyes. He has short hair that is neatly styled and vertically shaded from a dull and light green to black. He dressed up in a buttoned-up white shirt and black pants. Something about the aura around them almost felt... inhuman to you, so you kept your guard up. The lady just smiled gently at you.

"Yes, we are not human. Demons, in fact." the lady started but continued without giving you the chance to protest, "But you can trust us. We have been helping the Ubayashiki family for so long." You hesitantly nodded, still keeping your distance. You have been attacked by demons twice, so being around two others in a room without anyone to protect didn't seem like such a festive idea. The boy's eyebrows furrowed.

"Oi! Whatever Lady Tamayo says is true! So stop being so disrespectful towards her!" He barked as you just blinked at him as Tamayo gave him a look before turning back to you with a smile.

"I believe I must introduce myself," she said, "I'm Tamayo, and this lovely gentleman standing here is Yushiro." You watched how Yushiro's face turned to a soft pink when Tamayo called him 'Lovely Gentleman'. You couldn't help but smirk to yourself. What a simp. "I believe you're (L/N) (Y/N), am I correct?" You nodded. Tamayo smiled. "You look just like your grandmother, (Y/N). I've known her since she was very small. I'm sure she is very proud to have such a lovely lady like you as a granddaughter." You blushed softly as Yushiro rolled his eyes. Honestly, what's with this dude?

"M'lady, I believe we must finish what we came here to do before sunrise." Yushiro whispered as Tamayo nodded before turning to you.

"I believe you'd want to have a seat, (Y/N). We might have a very long chat, you and I." Tamayo said as she gestured towards a small round table with two seats. You took a deep breath as you walked towards the table, taking a seat. Tamayo sat in front of you and Yushiro stood behind her, making sure he was keeping an eye on you. Something was bugging you.

"May I ask you something?" Tamayo nodded, listening, "How old are you?"

Before you knew it, you felt something hit your head, making you yelp in pain. You winced when you touched your head, glaring up at whoever hit you to find Yushiro with a very pissed look on his face.

"Have you not learned not to ask a woman her age?! Not only are you a sore to the eye, but you have absolutely no manners!" Yushiro barked as you softly rubbed the spot where Yushiro hit you, remaining silent. He was right, you were going to admit, but he had no right to hit you. Tamayo sighed as she looked at Yushiro, who rolled his eyes before stepping back to the spot where he was standing. Tamayo gave an apologetic look.
