"Kyojuro just had to have a mission now of all times, didn't he?" You sighed to yourself as you reread the scroll of the Breath of Night for the umpteenth time now, not understanding how to apply a single move that was written in the scroll, excluding the third form of course. Kyojuro said he had a mission he needed to attend, and Giyu, on the other hand, said he had something important to take care of for today, leaving you to train on your own. Though Kyojuro told you that you were able to take this day off, you decided it would be wiser for you to continue training, even if you didn't have a tutor to guide you. At first, you thought it was a great idea, but after an hour or so, you realized that you had no idea what you were doing.

Eventually, a certain long-haired boy with turquoise tips came to join you for training, catching you off guard. The young boy glanced at you with his blank, empty turquoise eyes, blinking. "I thought the training room was free for today." He said in a monotone. You chuckled nervously at the younger boy who stood in front of you, softly rubbing the back of your head.

"Erm, I was planning on leaving right now, Muichiro. No need to worry." You said as you packed up the scrolls and wooden katanas, only to realize that Muichiro was staring at your equipment, before looking back up at you with his usual blank expression.

"You're having trouble with your breathing forms." He stated, and he was right. You swallowed a lump forming in your throat as you nodded, partly feeling embarrassed over the fact that a fourteen-year-old kid was a better swordsman than you, yet you tried not to let it bother you so much. Muichiro glanced at your scrolls one last time. "I want to help. It would make me better in swordsmanship as well." You blinked, your lips curving up into a small smile.

"You would do that for me?" You asked. Muichiro stared at you blankly.

"No. I just said it would help me with becoming a better swordsman." He said bluntly, though he also did want to help you as well. Muichiro never had a chance to talk to you face to face, and he thought perhaps now would be a perfect time. You somehow reminded him of someone, but he wasn't able to place his finger on it. That's how it always was. He just couldn't remember. He watched your smile widen as you softly patted his head.

"Sure, whatever you say kiddo! Let's see how your teaching skills are." You gave him a closed-eye smile with a thumbs up. Muichiro nodded as his smaller hands grabbed the scrolls, squinting his eyes as he read through them, slowly nodding after every few sentences. He then gave you his usual blank expression when looking up at you.

"It's simple. The moves in the Breath of Night are all based on balance and the movement of the moon and stars." Muichiro said in a monotone as you nodded. Balance and the movements of the moon and star... pretty sure it's much easier than it sounds, right? Muichiro blinked at you. "Come, I'll explain."

"You're the cutest most adorable human being I've met." You cried as you hugged Muichiro while kneeling. Muichiro stood still, not knowing how to react. He just turned to you with an expressionless face.
