You yawned, tiredly making your way from the guest room to the kitchen. The only reason you had the energy to wake up so early on a weekend's day was because of a very mouthwatering aroma you have smelled, and it made your stomach rumble.

You would do anything to get a tasty meal, even if it meant waking up at 8 am.

"Good morning, (Y/N)." Senjuro smiled softly when he noticed you enter the kitchen. You gave him a tired smile as you mumbled a good morning back. You looked at what Senjuro was cooking over the frypan and noticed it was rice omelets, one of your favorite foods.

"For a kid your age, you do enjoy cooking, huh?" You asked the fiery-haired twelve-year-old, resting your head on the counter over your arms.

"Well..." Senjuro started, chuckling nervously, "I couldn't really let Aniki do the cooking by himself. He... isn't the best cook out there if I had to be honest, and there's a big chance he might burn the whole kitchen down." You couldn't help but laugh a little at Senjuro's words. You pictured Kyojuro, he was smiling confidently in front of a cooking pan that was on fire, everything inside of it charred to a crisp. It wouldn't be surprising if it happened eventually.

"I heard that, Senjuro!" Kyojuro said playfully as he walked into the kitchen. He didn't have his hair tied up yet, letting his bangs fall carelessly all over his face. You had to admit, that hairstyle looked real good on him.

Your eyes met his, and soon enough, the memories of what happened last night came flushing down to you, turning your face to a soft pink shade. You quickly looked away, trying to hide away your blush.

Jeez, get it together, (Y/N)! Idiot! He probably forgot about what has happened anyway.

Kyojuro, on the other hand, might have been dealing with the same problem you were dealing with. His cheeks were dusted pink, yet he tried to hide it with his usual smile. He couldn't get over the fact of how close your face was to his, though he did his best to ignore his feelings.

Kyojuro sat next to you, greeting you with a good morning with a big smile. You greeted him back, only you didn't look away from your plate. You didn't want to make this more awkward than it already is. Senjuro placed Kyojuro's plate in front of him as he sat down on the seat opposite yours and Kyojuro's. You all ate in very awkward silence until Senjuro broke the silence.

"What's with the tension, guys? Is something wrong with the food?" He asked. You uncomfortably shifted in your seat as you mumbled a no as Kyojuro yelled "No! Nothing is wrong with your food!" Senjuro's facial expression turned from calm to a worried one.

"Did... something happen last night?" He asked. You choked on your breakfast as Kyojuro laughed nervously.

"Don't worry, Senjuro, everything is alright!" Kyojuro smiled wider, which didn't reassure Senjuro.

"Yeah, Senjuro, there's no need to worry about anything." You smiled at the younger boy, trying to keep up the act.

"I see..." Senjuro said as he went back to his food.

Well... that was awkward.

You told Kyojuro you would take a quick bath before he could walk you home, and he didn't object as he told you that you could take your time. Kyojuro sat down, waiting for you. He heard the showers starting.

Oh... I guess (Y/N) just got in, he thought to himself. As the thought of you in the shower crossed his mind, his face turned red. Stop it you pervert! How can you imagine such things!

"Aniki?" Kyojuro quickly snapped out of his thoughts as Senjuro sat beside him, "You still haven't told her the truth, have you?" Kyojuro shook his head.

"No, but I will sooner or later." He told his brother.

"Better be sooner than later." Senjuro said, "Or else things might take it to the bad turn." Kyojuro thought for himself for a moment, before looking at his brother with his usual smile, reassuring him everything would be alright. Senjuro nodded quietly, before looking up at his older brother.

"I really like (Y/N)," Senjuro admitted to his brother, his face turning to a soft shade of pink, "But I don't think she's into guys my age." Senjuro whispered. Kyojuro looked at his brother, who fiddled to the zipper of his jacket as he looked down. Kyojuro couldn't help but smile at his younger brother.

"You'll find someone you'll love soon, Senjuro! You are such a kind and sweet person after all!" Kyojuro patted his brother in the head as he gave him a closed-eye smile. Senjuro gave his older brother a small smile.

"But you like her too, right?" Senjuro asked, making Kyojuro's face blush furiously, "Can you ask her out for me?"

"W-well, I can assure you, it's not like that!" Kyojuro smiled brightly, blush to remain.

There is no way I like her like that... after all, she probably would never have eyes for me...

You hugged Senjuro goodbye, telling him how much you enjoyed staying at his place, as you left Kyojuro's apartment with him right behind you. It seemed to you that ever since Kyojuro found you alone outside passed out in the rain, he wouldn't let you go anywhere without him. As annoying as it was, you were glad someone cared about you. The walk was quiet, and you could only hear the busy streets from afar and the morning birds happily chirping. Wow... those birds are annoying, oh my god.

"(Y/N)?" Kyojuro asked as you hummed in response, "May I ask... what was the last thing you remember before passing out?" You paused for a moment or two before sighing.

"The guy looked pale, had pink hair, and tattoos on his face." You started, trying to recall exactly what happened, "although his eyes looked unnatural and he had fangs." Kyojuro frowned as though he knew what you were talking about. It's either that or he seriously considered taking you to the doctor.

"What else do you remember? Did he perhaps do anything to you?" Kyojuro asked, still wearing his frown. You were so used to seeing Kyojuro with his usual smile, his frown kind of scared you.

You hesitated before speaking, but Kyojuro nodded, telling you to continue, "He didn't do much, to be honest. He started talking about weird stuff about my family. He then hit me so hard on the face that I passed out. He did apologize twice before doing so..." You remembered the figure that appeared, the one you couldn't make out. Then something... or someone came. I was unable to tell who it was or what it did because I had passed out by then." You chuckled to yourself, "I guess Senjuro and you were right. This whole situation seemed too crazy to be true." You looked at Kyojuro with a smile, but that smile soon faded when you noticed how furious his expression was, and how frightening the aura around him seemed. However, the aura soon faded and his normal smile replaced the furious expression.

"Yup! Just as we told you, (Y/N), there's nothing to be afraid of. You probably were just seeing things!" You smiled, nodding at his words.

Though you weren't quite convinced, because the look his Kyojuro's eyes was still very furious. It was one filled with rage.
