"bro you need to message her back now before it's too late," Mason warned. The two footballers were sat together on the plane on the way to Mykonos for a well needed lads holiday.

"what do i even say though? i want to be nice but i don't want to give the wrong impression," Ben explained.

" wrong impression? stop pretending like you don't like her, i still think you made a mistake ending it with her to be honest mate," the other boy sighed. Mason tried not to lay into his friend too much, he had already scolded Ben enough for his decision and after their loss he didn't want to make things worse.

Mason took hold of the phone and began typing. "what are you doing?" Ben urged, trying to take the phone back. "i'm just saying what you're thinking, but you're too afraid to say," he muttered before sending off the message.
