39. The End Of The Ghost Murderer

Previously: You and the team were at The Salem Willows talking with Quinn Dalton, the unsub. He had you in a grip while pressing his gun against your head when you heard a gun shot.

You slowly opened your eyes to see that you were left unmarked. Quinn was on the ground, his gun on the ground and his leg was bleeding. You quickly grabbed the gun and aimed at him so he couldn't attack you.

Quinn: "SON OF A BITCH." He screamed in pain.

Y/N: "You've had a good run Quinn, but you're done."

Quinn: "I'll be out once again, don't you worry."

Y/N: "Yeah okay, can someone cuff him already?"

Morgan: "Absolutely. It would be my absolute pleasure."

After Quinn was cuffed and thrown into a car, everyone surrounded you and started asking questions.

Emily: "Are you okay Y/N?"

Y/N: "Yeah, I'm fine, my ear hurts a lot though."

JJ: "Come, we'll drive you to the hospital."

Y/N: "Thanks," you say while you all start to walk towards the car, "who shot him?"

Tara: "I think it was Alvez."

Y/N: "Remind me to thank him when we're done getting my ear checked out."

Emily: "Will do." She said while you all were buckling in.

Emily starts the car, JJ is in the front passenger seat, and Tara is in the back with you. After about ten minutes, you all walk inside and you get checked in. You're waiting in the area waiting to be called. After about twenty minutes, your name gets called. Once you got all checked out, you received your diagnosis. As suspected, you had a perforated eardrum. The doctor prescribed you with some antibiotics.

Once you were all set, you and the girls made it back to the rest of the team back at the Police Department.

Hotch: "Monroe, is everything okay?"

Y/N: "Yes sir, just a perforated eardrum."

Hotch: "This means-"

Y/N: "-I have to stay home until it's healed, I know Hotch." You say finishing his sentence.

Morgan: "So you're all good?"

Y/N: "Mhm. Where's Alvez?"

Reid: "He went into the bathroom, he should be coming out any second."

After Spencer said that, Luke walked out of the bathroom. You walk over to him and give him a hug.

Luke: "What was that for? Not that I'm complaining or anything."

Y/N: "You basically saved my life, even if you did perforate my eardrum." You smile.
