Jamie helped pack up the stuff with Tylor and Val.
"I'm gonna head back to the office, guys," she told them.
"Okay. See ya down there," he said.
"See ya," Jamie smiled awkwardly before leaving.
"That was close. But we, uh, got through it. Didn't we?" Tylor asked before chuckling.
"Like our Origins of Fear class. But you don't remember me," Val said sadly.
There was a slight pause before Tylor spoke.
"'You picked the best seat in the house,'" he recalled.
"What?" she asked.
"When I asked, uh, 'Is this seat taken?' you...you said, 'You picked the best seat in the house,'" Tylor remembered.
"You remember," Val responded.
"Yeah. You, uh, you even shared your Hot Snots candy with me," he continued, chuckled, then added, "I remember that because it's, uh, it's my favorite."
"College buds," she said.
"College buds. Yeah. Hey, but look at us now. Makin' new memories," Tylor replied.
"Work buds," Val smiled.
"Yeah, work buds. Why not?" he shrugged.
She then gasped and said, "Hey. I know where Duncan hides his Hot Snots."
"Really? Where?" Tylor asked.
"Under Roto's cage," Val answered.
"Oh. Oh, that. No," he realized.
"I eat it all the time," she said.
"No. That's not candy," Tylor informed.
"Yeah. It definitely is," Val nodded.
"No. That's..." he tried to explain.
"We're gonna eat it. Work buds," she said.
"Don't eat them," Tylor said.
"Candy, candy, candy..." Val sang.
"Val, no," he said.
When she calmed down, she asked, "By the way, what's going on between you and Jamie?"
"What do you mean?" Tylor wondered.
"Since you guys came out of the closet, you two acted differently," Val pointed out.
He sighed and said, "It's complicated."
"Okay. But if you wanna talk about it, I'm here," Val assured.
"Thanks," Tylor responded.
