Fritz stared at the new vending machine in confusion.
"A new vending machine?" Fritz asked.
"Look at that. It even has hot foods. That's pretty hot," Cutter smirked.
"That's right, sir. I had it installed just for you," Duncan declared.
"You had it installed? No, no. This wasn't Duncan's idea," Val said.
"Yeah, Val, Jamie, and I gave Mike the idea to upgrade," Tylor added.
"But I approved the delivery," Duncan replied.
"No, no," Jamie shook her head.
"Duncan!" Val remarked.
"I don't think I like this," Fritz told them.
"Me neither," Duncan agreed.
"It's too soon," Fritz continued.
"Way too soon," Duncan went on.
"I miss Vendy," Fritz sighed.
"This was College Boy's hair-brained scheme," Duncan accused.
"What? No! He didn't ask Mike to send this down," Jamie defended.
"He said it was his idea," Duncan remarked.
"It was Mike's idea," Tylor said.
"Upgrades," Val corrected.
As they argued, Fritz checked all of the drink flavors the new vending machine had to offer.
"Wow! Look at all these refreshing Drooler Cooler flavors. I like this!" Fritz smiled.
"And it was all my idea!" Duncan stated.
"Really, Duncan?" Jamie and Tylor asked.
"How do I choose? There's Spineapple! That sounds..." Fritz said.
"Whatever you want," Jamie told him.
"Taste Free, Bilgeberry. Maybe I'm just gonna go for Bile Blast," Fritz decided.
"If you're happy, I'm happy," Duncan declared.
Fritz selected one, put a coin in, then tried the flavor came out.
"The acidity's astounding. I can't feel my tongue, but so what? Maybe I should've tried the Lemon Slime. That'd have been more delightful and refreshing," Fritz said.
"Hey, look, there's an 'exchange' button," Val informed.
"Huh?" Fritz asked.
"Right there," Val pointed out.
"Oh. Jumping gaskets! Whoa! Would you look at that? Bitty bump," Fritz said as he exchanged it, got more sodas, then told them, "I can't get over it! This is really something. Thank you, Vendy Two. And thank you all. You know, I'm having a really rough week and this makes me feel a smidgy bit better."
He then went inside and got excited about trying all of the new flavors.
"You hear that? He thanked us. We're not getting fired," Tylor cheered.
"No, no. He thanked moi. I'm not getting fired," Duncan smirked.
"Good for you, Duncan," Jamie remarked sarcastically.
