The Last Aura User

3rd POV

ASH WAKE UP. IT'S TIME FOR YOUR LESSON AT THE LAB!

5 year old Ash Ketchum practically fell out of the bed.

He looked around expecting his mom to be in the room but didn't see her.

"Ash come downstairs" he heard his mom call.

How on Earth is she so loud? he asked himself before walking downstairs.

"Ah, there you are, honey. I thought you were about to oversleep." Delia said as she gave Ash a plate of pancakes.

"There's no way I'd miss Professor Oak's Pokemon Lessons. Too bad they only last for a week." he responded while munching his food.

"Well, you'd better get ready. I'm going to head to the Lab to prepare and see how the Pokemon are doing. Come to the Lab in 30 mins okay?" Delia asked as she put on her lab coat. As Professor Oak's assistant, she was very busy.

"Okay, mummy" Ash responded and continued munching on his pancakes.

"Hello children, I am Professor Oak if you didn't know. In these 7 days I will teach all the basics about Pokemon, so that when you become old enough to become a Pokemon Trainer you will be prepared for the world you will face. So, let's get started for today."

First, Professor Oak explained that all Pokemon have types. He then went on to explain what the types were and the different advantages and disadvantages they would be against each other in battle.

"Now that you know about types, we have many exhibits with contain Pokemon. Each exhibit has Pokemon of a certain type. For example, over here is the Dragon type exhibit. As you can see, we have Gibles, Bagons, Noiverns, and so on. You will have 20 minutes in each exhibit. You will also be paired up with 2 other people. On this list I have your groups, please come up to me and find out who you are with."

Ash walked up and was told that he was with two girls named Yellow and Leaf. He had no idea who they were mostly because he rarely ever went outside to socialize. He was pretty introverted and didn't get along too well with other people.

After asking around, he finally found the two mentioned girls.

"Hi, are you Ash?" the bubbly girl with a cap asked him.

"Yeah" he responded coldly.

"Cool! I'm Leaf and this is Yellow!" said the girl excited and jumping up and down.

"Hi!" the other girl said.

"Uh, hi" Ash responded not knowing what else to say. He was a socially awkward potato and had no idea how people socialize.

"So which exhibit should we check out first?" Leaf asked excitedly.

"I wanna see the electric exhibit" Yellow proclaimed "electric type Pokemon are the best."

"Nuh-uh grass types are better" Leaf said as she stuck her tongue out at Yellow.

The two started arguing and Ash just sweatdropped. He then spotted a Gible in the dragon exhibit getting ganged up on by Shelgons. He quickly ran over and stood in front of the Gible.

"Hey, leave him alone!" he said while putting his hands out.

The Shelgons just looked at each other and walked away.

Ash practically fell over at the voice in his head.

"W-w-what was that?" he said as he looked around.

No clue

"Y-you can t-talk?" he asked stuttering.

Wait, YOU CAN UNDERSTAND ME!?!?!?

"I CAN UNDERSTAND YOU?!?!?"

Wow, this is such a weird day the Gible said

"Yeah, you can say that again" Ash replied scratching the back of this head.

Just then, Yellow and Leaf walked over.

"You can't just leave us you know" Yellow said as she pouted.

"Well I kinda had to, you guys looked like you were about to start a meowth-fight" Ash responded as he scratched Gible's head and it cooed in content.

"Well, let's look around!" Leaf yelled in glee and ran around as Yellow joined her.

"Girls are weird" Ash said to the Gible.

Ash walked over to the lab like usual to see Gible and said hi to his mom and Professor Oak. His appearance had changed drastically and so did his personality. He remembered how he turned into this.

flashback 1 year 10 months ago

Ash was outside walking around and heard something in the woods. Being the idiotic kid he was, he followed the sound and came to a clearing. A majestic Pokemon stood there. It looked like a deer, but was white and had a yellow crown thing on the top of it's head.

"Hello Ash" Arceus said.

"Hi? Who are you?" Ash asked.

"I am Arceus, the god of Pokemon. I have come to see you as you are the last Aura user on this planet. Aura is the reason why you can talk to Pokemon. Your father was an Aura user and he passed the trait dowwn to you. I will give the knowledge on how to use Aura. Come here."

Ash obediently walked over to Arceus as it placed a foot on his forehead. Immediately, he knew all about Aura. He opened his palm and blue fire erupted.

"Wow" Ash said looking at the bright blue flame.

"I will seen you again, child. Take care" Arceus said and flashed away.
