Starting on the Journey

The week flew by quickly. Soon it was time for all the kids to return home.

Ash was outside saying bye to Serena and Cynthia. Gible was also there saying bye to Cynthia's Gible.

Serena left with her mom with her while waving bye. Leaf and Yellow walked to their cabin to get their suitcases.

"Bye Ash, it was a fun week" Cynthia said with tears in her eyes.

"Yeah, you'll come back next year right?" Ash asked hoping for her to respond in the positive.

"Of course. I'll make sure to." Cynthia said. She turned back and saw her mom driving in the distance.

"Bye Ash" Cynthia said. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and ran off while blushing.

"Bye!" Ash yelled.

Cynthia's Gible followed her soon to be trainer and waved bye.

"Can't wait for next year's Camp" Ash said while sighing.

Me neither Gible said.

Time skip 1 year brought to you by Zorua who turned into a Celebi

Ash was waiting in the front gates looking for 2 specific people. One was a honey blonde while the other was plain blonde.

Just when he was about to go back, he saw one of them.

"Ash!" Serena yelled and hugged him. Ash returned the gesture and said hello.

"I thought you weren't going to come" Ash said.

"Of course I was. I wouldn't miss this for anything." Serena replied.

She soon spotted Leaf and Yellow. She ran off towards them while Ash took one last look back at the gate. Nothing. He sighed and walked away.

"GIBLE, WAIT!" came a voice. A familiar voice.

Ash turned around and saw a blonde chasing after a Gible.

She looked up and saw Ash.

"ASH!" She yelled and ran into his arms.

"Oof-" Ash grunted and fell.

"I missed you, too" he said "let's get to the cabin."

Ash was once again standing outside the gate. He was now 14. He was muscular with a swimmer's build. Gone was his baby voice and baby face. He had a deep monotone voice and a handsome face with a well defined jawline. His auburn eyes shone as he saw the person he was wating for.

"Serena! Over here!" He yelled.

"ASH!" She said and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"How've you been?" Ash asked blushing. Gone was the dense wall that once inhabited him.

"Good. Where are Leaf and Yellow?" She asked.

"Inside our cabin, getting everything ready" Ash said.

"Okay, I'll see you later!" Serena yelled and ran off.

He turned around and looked around for one particular blonde.

"Right here, Ash" said a voice.

"Cynthia!" Ash said happily.

He gave her a hug and they walked inside.

"This is our last camp. After this, we are going to be trainers" Ash said while looking over the view with nostalgia. Even though it had been 7 years since he first came here, the place still looked relatively the same.
