Lavender Tower and Celadon

3rd Person POV

 Ash took his Pokemon from Nurse Joy and walked outside. When he came out, Misty was nowhere to been seen.

"Misty?" Ash said looking around.

In front of him, a Haunter appeared. It pointed to a tall tower which was nearby then vanished once more.

It took Ash a second to understand that Misty had probably gotten kidnapped by some Ghost Type Pokemon and they wanted Ash to go save them. It was probably their way of making practical jokes.

He sighed. It would probably be cruel to just leave Misty in the tower with all the Ghost-Type Pokemon. She seemed pretty deathly scared, almost as scared as when she came across Bug Type Pokemon.

He walked down to the tower and didn't see anyone around. He walked cautiously, knowing this was the place where he could get jumped pretty easily by people. Near the tower, there was an old lady who seemed to be coming from the tower.

Ash decided to talk to her just because he was glad there was another person around.

"Hello Ma'am. Are you coming back from that tower over there?" Ash asked.

The old woman seemed almost surprised to see Ash.

"Oh, hello. Uh, yes, I was coming back from the tower. It's a Pokemon graveyard of sorts, I was just going to visit my old Golem which passed away nearly a decade ago. It was the last Pokemon which was still alive from my travels. Are you going to Celadon City by any chance? The only times people come here are to go there."

"Yes, I am" Ash replied. "Thank you, but I'd better be on my way."

And with that, Ash started walking to the tower. Apparently, it was some kind of graveyard for Pokemon. That was oddly unnerving for Ash, but he just shook off the goosebumps and walked inside the tower.

It was dark purple like much of the city and poorly lit. There was also a set of stairs which went up. After scanning the room and not seeing anything, Ash climbed the stairs and made it to the top of the tower.

It was a huge room, and when Ash walked around, he saw a knocked out Misty in a corner. He ran over to her and shook her to wake her up.

"Hey, Misty! Wake up!" he said.

"Huh, Ash? Wha-" she was cut off by a Gastly which appeared and used Hypnosis.

"The hell?" Ash said and turned around. 

He came face to face with the Gastly which once again used Hypnosis. Ash, using his Aura, ignored the effects of the move.

'Yo what? I think this guy might be a psychic' the Gastly said looking back, probably to its friends who were hidden.

"I'm not psychic, just a little special that's all" Ash said smirking.

The Gastly flew back in surprise.

'AHHHHHHHHHHH'

Ash started walking towards the Gastly with a maniacal smile, and started glowing with blue aura, scaring the shit out of the Gastly.

'WHAT THE FUCK! HELP!'  The Gastly said disappearing.

Ash chuckled and woke up Misty.

"What's going on?" she asked looking around the dark tower.

"You got kidnapped by some Gastlys and Haunters. Then I rescued you, nothing out of the ordinary" Ash replied and started walking down the stairs.

"Hey! Wait up!" Misty said as she rushed down the stairs, running after Ash.

After about 30 minutes, Ash and Misty had made it to Celadon City. Ash decided to rest for a bit and train up some of his Pokemon until it was time to go to sleep. Charmeleon was still trying to get used to its new form and Ash was going to work on that. Charmeleon had also learned some new moves as well, so Ash would help Charmeleon with that as well.

Charmeleon had learned Dragon Rage when it evolved, which was great news for Ash since Dragon Rage dealt a good amount of damage every time it hit.

Ash also wanted to evolve Gible as soon as possible so he could reach his final form of Garchomp, which would be devastating for his opponents. He also wanted to evolve Scyther, but decided to wait until the time was right. 

He already knew his 3 Pokemon for the battle. Charmeleon, a Fire Type, Pidgeotto, a Flying Type, and Scyther, a Bug-Flying Type which would be his ace for the battle. He made sure that all of his Pokemon were prepared then went to sleep.

When Ash woke up the next morning, he made his way to the Celadon City Gym, which was in a dome with flowers all around it. When he walked in, he could smell huge amounts of perfume.

"Hello there" the lady at the front desk called to Ash.

"H-Hello. I-I'm here to challenge the Gym Leader" Ash managed to gag out.

"Oh, can I have your name please?"

"Ash Ketchum" Ash replied.

"Okay, our Gym hours end in about half an hour. After that we sell perfumes, so you have to finish your battle by 12 or you will end up having to redo it tomorrow" the lady said.

"What?!" Ash exclaimed. "Your Gym closes at noon? To sell perfumes?!?!"

"Yes" the lady said firmly. "If you would like to battle today, I suggest you make your way into the gym now."

Ash sighed in exasperation and walked to the door to the gym.
