It was almost evening. I decided to get ready for the welcome party. Daniel was laying on his bed still going through his phone.

I got up and decided to change my clothes. But now the question is...how? I looked at him. "I need to change" I said quietly but enough audible for him. He didn't say a word, not even a peek. "Daniel " I spoke out again a little louder than before. "I understood you" he mumbled, his eyes still glued to his phone screen. "So can you?" I focused on the door. "I have no interest in seeing you change your clothes" he spoke back finally giving me a look of lack of interest.

He's starting to get on my nerves. "Well that doesn't matter. You need to" I warned slightly annoyed at his attitude. "If you change 10 times a day, am I supposed to go out all the time?" He talked. "There's no point in arguing with you. I will change in the closet." I let out angrily and started leaving towards the closet. I got inside and started to fumble through my clothes. I didn't fill up many fancy clothes, only a handful. I picked out a white one piece

which I especially packed for the party

which I especially packed for the party. I got entirely dressed and came out of the  closet. Damn.

It was so hot in the closet.  As soon as I gout out Daniel laid his eyes on me "are you attending some funeral? Why are you so formal?" He spoke gazing at me from top to bottom.

I am not even wearing black why would he say that.

Such an asshole.

"Yes funeral of your manners. Wanna join?" I answered back and headed out to do some makeup. He just rolled his eyes at me. I don't like heavy makeup. Just light touch up. But I completely appreciate those who love dressing and putting so much effort into it.

Everyone has their own choices. I put on some mascara, blush and lip balm. Finally I was ready to head out.

Daniel was still on his bed. I didn't wait or something and just got out of the room. The hall was about 5 minutes.

I joined the hall. It was enormous and luxurious. Elegant chandeliers we're hanging from the ceiling in which candles were placed. There was a stage like setup probably for the director to deliver us a welcome speech. there were tables with a fine white cloth spread across it and varied appetisers kept on it. On the same side, there were couches for students to sit. There were also numerous chairs spread across the hall. I really wanted to take a picture. I took out my phone and clicked a picture. I had a habit of taking pictures of precious memories. I started to look around to see if I could spot Eliza but I didn't see her anywhere.

I just made a self not to take her number next time we meet. There was a small corner of the hall were some brochures were organised neatly. I went over to the section and started going through some handouts. It was the one related  to my business management course. I was reading it attentively though the same information was on their website. Why did they print it out separately? "You are in business management too?" A boy spoke who was standing just beside me. He was approximately 6 foot talll. Standing tall and muscular. He was decent and attractive.

He had a cute bowl cut and a very adorable smile on his face. I just smiled awkwardly and nodded a yes. "I'm Adam harville" he laid his hand forward waiting for me to shake it while smiling. I took his hand. "I am Maya Vargas"I gleaned back, this time more sweet than awkward. "I hope I'm not interrupting you" he enunciated again putting his hands into his pocket. "No it's fine." I said while showing him the brochure in my hand. He held it from my hand gently and just had a look at a few pages.

"Isn't it the same information on the website? Why did they print it out again?" He said while letting out a small chuckle. "I know right? I was thinking the same" I told him keeping the brochure back in place. "Wanna grab something to eat?" He questioned me ponting to the food. "Let's get it" I said and we both started walking towards the table. "So you live in the campus?" Adam inquired me while I grabbed myself a small plate to place food. "Yeah don't you?" "I do too. We can hang out" he said and took a plate for himself. I looked at him and nodded smiling. We got ourselves some food and took a seat on the couch.

He appeared nice at least nothing like the people I confronted a while ago.

I took a glance all over the room again to see if Eliza was there. "Are you waiting for someone?"  Adam asked me. "Actually it's my friend, Eliza" I replied fetching attention back to him. "Roommate?" He raised a question again. "No" I replied. "Who is your roommate I asked him wondering what is he had one of Daniels friends as his roomie. "It's a boy form senior year is name is David. What about yours?" He asked  while taking a bite of his pizza. I looked at his cute little face and almost forgot that he asked me a question. "Oh -oh its Daniel " I stuttered. He stopped eating his food and looked at me.

"Daniel Seavey?" He spoke being surprised. "Yes" I replied. Now I am being a little concerned after his reaction. "Wow bad luck" he shrugged a little and went back to eating his food. Well now I need answers. Everyone's saying something or the other about him. First Samantha and now Adam. I don't find him too friendly either. "Well why does Daniel seavey have such a bad reputation?" I asked him filled with curiosity.
