''he told us to wait here'' dad said as he helped me pick up my stuff. eliza got my stuff from the dorm. i had no will to even see him. i nodded lightly. dad had not even scolded me once. nor was he irritated though he knew i lied to him. suddenly the director's door and came there he came. he had my transfer letter in his hand. ''thank you and sorry for everything'' dad let out as he took the letter. ''its fine. i know how children can turn out when they don't have a mother'' the director said.

 i felt a dagger in my heart. ''yeah'' dad said with awkwardness. i had never let dad feel so low about his way of raising me. by our car, eliza was standing. she smiled faintly. dad kept the stuff back into the car. 

soon eliza wrapped her arms around my body taking me in for hug.  ''i will miss you so much. take care and stay in touch'' she spoke against my neck. i nodded with a small 'yes'.  dad didn't utter anything since we started driving back. the only thing he asked me was if i was hungry. 

after hours of deafening silence, i spoke up. '' i am sorry dad'' tears formed in my eyes as i took a glance over him. he placed his hand over my hand caressing it slowly. ''its fine sweetie. you didn't see it coming'' dad tried to reassure me. 

2 weeks later...

''maya i guess you should see a doctor'' dad said as he held my hand. i almost fainted for the this time this week. ''i will be fine. i guess i haven't been eating well lately'' i let out not wanting to visit the doctor. 

''you have been very ill. we are going to the doctor'' he let out as i took a seat at the dining table. he was worried for no reason. after ten minutes, i heard the front door unlock and dad walked in with a bag in his hand. ''you brought the medicines already'' i talked in surprise and i walked up to him.  ''its a pregrnancy test'' as these words left his mouth i almost choked on my spit. 

''what? why?'' i spoke out almost screaming. ''i mean lets be on the safer side, go check it'' dad placed the bag in my hand and started to push me to the washroom. 

15minutes...

i sat on the toilet seat with the result in my hand. i heard a little bang on the door. ''what is the result sweetie?'' dad asked from the other side. i took a breath and exclaimed, 

''positive''

a/n: that's it!!! this book was supposed to have a part two but I couldn't make a proper ending and wasn't happy with my ideas so i am sorry to say this but there won't be a part 2! so i guess you can just imagine what you want to.
