i went inside the room and daniel stepped towards me after i closed the door. ''you worry me so much'' he spoke out as he  kissed on my shoulder. i caressed his cheek and walked towards his bed. 

i sat down and daniel took the spot next to me. his hands crawled onto my shoulders and he gave them a gentle squeeze. ''we almost got caught. angela literally saved us'' i mumbled. daniel decided to take me out on a date later that evening. 

5:30pm

daniel was talking over the phone making some reservations. i sat there on my bed going through my phone. i picked up my phone and decided to call eliza. 

we both hadn't talked in awhile. she wasn't showing up to our common classes. 

is she that angry with me? i didn't know what took over me. was it gait or sadness? she picked up my phone in a few rings. 

maya- eliza! hi.

eliza- hey

maya- how are you

eliza- i am fine

her voice was a lot subtle. i felt so terrible. she didnt even sound cheerful like usual.

maya- what are you doing?

eliza- noting

her one word answers were making me anxious. 

maya- how are things between you and jack?

eliza- we broke up

maya- what!?

my voice was loud. my jaw dropped when i heard her out. 

i suddenly understood the reason for her unhappiness. listening to me, daniel turned around. he had concern over his face as he walked over and sat beside me. 

eliza- just a few days ago. its been very bad for me since then

her voice cracking up and i felt so bad. 

maya- can i come over tomorrow?

eliza- yes pleas.

maya- i will come right after classes. 

i hung up the call and looked into daniel's eyes which were all on me. ''what happened baby? is everything ok?'' he asked as he stroked my cheeks. ''eliza and jack broke up'' i told him and he seemed no less stunned than i was. '' i don't know why yet. i will have to go to her tomorrow and then  i will let you know if i have to'' i got up from  the bed. ''if you have to? why?'' he whined behind as i walked towards the closet. ''because it's not my relationship. i am not gonna advertise it out when she is trusting me daniel'' i tell him and he nodded.
