''whats going on between you and angela?'' i raised the question. ''what?'' ''i saw you both kissing on the day of the freshmen party. were you both a thing or something?'' i queried him again and he sighed a little with a chuckle.

 ''angela? that's what's been eating you up?'' he giggled and rested a peck on my lips. 

he tugged me closer, hugging me. ''she has been my best friend since we were thirteen. that day i kissed her to make one of the guys she was behind jealous. we never were a thing'' he explained to me kissing the side of my hide. 

2 weeks later...

''no daniel i cant sit with you. adam will think i replaced him'' i whiningly warned daniel as i pushed him away. daniel intertwined his hand again with as he jerked me towards him. ''please baby'' he sulked at me again. ''i just don't get. how not being able to sit next to you for one class is going to make a difference'' i questioned him back, giving up my idea to free myself from his hand. 

''it does make a difference. he's always with you-'' he was mumbling when abruptly my phone started to ring. i snatched it out of my black pocket with my free hand. it was my dad. i had to answer it. 

dad- hey maya. how are you

maya- i am fine and you?

dad- i am good too. are you in class? 

maya-no i am actually waiting for the teacher to come

dad- i may visit you this weekend since i have some work that side. i wanted to tell you.

maya- really? thats awesome. i miss you so much.

dad- i miss you too. call me when you are free.

maya- ok dad 

i hang up with a huge smile on across my face. ''so what did your dad say?'' daniel asked me and i perked up at him happily. ''he is coming to visit me'' i let out to him in my most enthusiastic voice as ever and he laughed. ''baby that's great'' he let  out. ''look at this sweet pair'' an unexpected feminine voice crashed the moment between us. we both looked in front to see angela standing with her arms crossed and a smile across her face.  she was leaning on one of the walls. ''hey angela'' i greeted her back with a polite smile. daniel smiled at her too.

 ''where's your boyfriend?'' daniel asked her.  his hands were no longer pripping mine rather now the draped around my waist. ''i don't know for now. anyways i will see him over some girl at your party today.'' she spoke out while rolling her eyes.

 ''i will see you tonight maya'' ''actually i... i am not going to come tonight'' i spoke up and peeked at daniel who was already looking at me with furrowed eyebrows.  ''oh why?'' she asked me again with a hint of disappointment. ''i have some work. lets go now, we are getting late for class''  i quickly shifted to topic and started to walk off with daniel. ''why aren't you coming?'' daniel asked. ''i have other plans. i don't think i will make it'' i explained as i pushed the door to get inside the class. i found adam sitting at out typical spot. i smiled and waved at him and glimpsed bak at daniel who was still staring at me with a blank expression.

''plans? with adam right?'' he asked me. ''daniel lets talk later ok?'' i said giving his hand a slight squeeze. ''sure'' he said and walked to his seat and i thought he wanted to sit with me just few minutes back. i felt regretful for making him mad like this. i didn't want to make him feel jealous or anything to be clear. i got to the seat near adam. 

its fine i will make it up to him later. i dont know what he has against adam. i hope he doesnt think i am trying to make him jealous or something.
