When they left the house, the rain which had started to fall fell on their faces, then the flashing lights dazzled them and finally they made out Hank pushing Zlatko firmly into a police car.

- You can take him, he said, knocking the roof of the vehicle as a signal to go. Ah you're there, he added when he saw them arrive.

- Was there no problem?  Angie asked.

- No, the parcel has been packed and shipped, direction the police station jail. The forensics shouldn't delay any longer, I'll wait for them to give them the report, you two can go home.

Angie glanced at Connor and saw he was thinking the same as her.  She shook her head.

- We're gonna stay with you, and then we don't have a vehicle.

- As you wish. Aren't you cold like that, son?  He asked when he saw that Connor was shirtless in the rain.

- No, you know that ... started Connor.

Before he finished his sentence, the lieutenant had taken off his jacket and placed it on his shoulders.

- ... that I don't feel the cold ... Thank you, Hank, he added anyway not to offend him, a small smile on his lips.

Angie led them to the porch of the house protected by a roof and the three of them sat down on the small staircase.

- Your jacket must always be inside, she said, thinking, that's what brought us here.

- What do you mean ?  Connor asked.

After questioning Hank with her gaze, she explained to him how they had managed to find him.

- I tried to contact you, explained the android, before he erased my memory again but he must have set up a jam, the signal was stopped.

- Sorry it took so long to worry, Hank intervened, but we believed you were with Chloe.  What happened ?

Connor sighed before explaining:

- It was not Chloe ... I thought it was her when I received her message but once arrived at the meeting I realized that it was another RT600.  It was a trap, she was in Zlatko's service, finally forced service ... once she managed to lure me to an alley I was knocked out by someone I didn't have the time to see.

- Um ... Zlatko himself or another of his controlled androids.

Connor nodded before continuing.

- When I woke up, I was already here, in the basement, attached to this doom machine.  I haven't seen the RT600 again, she must be with the others now, maybe they're still somewhere inside ...

As he wanted to get up, Angie grabbed him by the arm.

- The experts will find them if they are there, and if they are not, we'll make Zlatko spit it out the info.

She didn't want him to enter this house anymore, he had suffered enough there.  He sighed but accepted her arguments.

Finally the forensic experts arrived, they asked them a few questions then Hank showed them the opening so that they could take possession of the premises.  Then another car stormed in, which she recognized to be Gavin Reed's.  What was he doing here? Slamming his door loudly her colleague strode towards them and she stood up to meet him.

- I'm coming back, she called out to Connor.

- Angie, you okay?  Gavin asked as soon as he saw her in the middle of the aisle.  I heard the old man's call, I came as soon as I could.  Are you not hurt?  And Connor, is he okay?
