China pov

America opened the door wide and offered to come into his home. I glided past him and looked around the large cabin.
"Quite the place you have here," I complimented his house. He thanked me and walked over to a cabinet. "Would you like anything to drink? Their herbal tea around here is really good," he offered. I declined his offer and asked if I could sit down on the couch across from the unlit, fireplace placed in their living room.

Ugh, the scent of another alpha makes me get headaches. I could tell that Russia was here before I showed up. Two mugs already sat on the coffee table. America soon joined me on the other side of the couch and took the half-empty mug off the tiny table and took a sip. A small smile painted his face as he avoided eye contact.
"Why are you so happy Meri?" I  smirked and cocked my head while I asked the question, "Are you overjoyed to see me?"
The smaller country chuckled and shook his head no. My smirk fell for a split second before I got back onto character.
"No. I had a really nice conversation with Russia is all," America mumbled.
"What was it about?" I asked curiously. The omega's face exploded into blush. "Oh, come on, what was it about?" I rolled my eyes at his embarrassment and put my hands on his shoulders in a firm, yet friendly manner. Some of the North Alpha's scent went away and my headache eased.
"Fine, I was really stressed, so I got some things off my chest and I thought Russia would hate me, but he said that he loves me. And, uh, I love him too," he smiled ear to ear.

"Aww, isn't that cute? An alpha and omega in true love. So when will you fill this large house with small little children?" America was quick to smack me over the head. "Ow!"
"Better learn to hold your tongue then, boy," the star-speckled country snapped back at me.
"See? Perfect parenting behavior-" I was cut off with a quick smack. I chuckled at America's attempt to hush me.
"Sorry, sorry, I apologize for my childish behavior," I held up my hands to defend myself from the smaller male's playful hits.
"Better be sorry," he huffed and crossed his arms. He turned his back towards me and pouted.
"I am, truly," I sang out and wrapped my arms around his frame, and rested my head on his shoulder. America abruptly stood up, which made me tumble off the couch and land on my back with a groan. America stood over me and glared daggers down at me using his vibrant eyes.
"Care to join me, Meri?" I smirked up at him. He scoffed and walked away.
"The water is just fine!" I called to where ever he was.
"Keep it up, if you want to know what that floor tastes like!" he yelled back at me. I silently laughed as I picked myself off the polished wooden floor.

"Ah, true friendship at its finest; threatening to beat each other up with no follow-through," I stated and walked over to the omega that stood over the sink, washing the mugs. America shrugged, "My brother is my best friend and we used to wrestle all the time so that 'no fallow through' is false," he continued. "And I guess Russia is a good friend and I once woke him up by kicking his chair out from under him and dropping him on the floor, further disproving your point."
Huh. He is quite an interesting character. A strong, rather independent omega that isn't afraid of a fight. Very interesting.
I chuckled, "Wow, you're a rather violent person. Short man syndrome?" He turned around to glare at me.
"You're barely two inches taller than me, shut up," he snapped ate before turning back around and finishing his job.

"Now is there anything in particular that you came here to talk about, or ask for?" America asked me while wiping off his hands on a nearby cloth.
"No, I just wanted to check in because you chugged Russia's vodka after talking about a sensitive topic. I just wanted to know that you were okay," I calmly claimed.
"Well, thank you for checking in, I'm fine now. Russia and I talked about it, and I feel better."
I nodded my head.
"Well before I go, can you please try to convince Russia to let me stay for good? I don't know what I'd do if I got kicked out. The facility would find me!" I yelled desperately grabbing the smaller male's arms dramatically.

Well. The facility already knows where I am at all times because of a mirror chip implant that they also gave the Brit and America way back when.

America sighed, but nodded his head. "Fine, I'll put in a good word for you since I know what its like back at that... place. And, you're kinda my friend," he grumbled.
"Thank you!" I exclaimed and wrapped my arms around him tightly.
I "tripped" and fell with America still in my arms. America landed on his back with a groan as I halfway fell on him. I deliberately planned for us to fall this way so that I would have fallen in between his legs.
"Oh! I'm so sorry. I apologize for my clumsiness, Meri," I fussed, still putting on my innocent look, while laying my lower body onto him, basically pinning him to the floor. He groaned and rubbed the back of his head.
"China, get the hell off me," he growled. I hastily scrambled off him and onto my feet.
I'd love to see him explain why he has another alpha's scent on him in all the wrong places.

America got up cautiously, aware of the freshly healed wounds.
I opened my mouth to speak but was cut off by furious tapping, clanking, and fluttering by the window. A large raven was trying to break in the window.
America fearlessly opened the window to let the blackbird in. It swooped in the room and cawwed, and pecked at me to get back towards the door.
"This is Russia's raven, Pine, I think he wants you to leave," he tried to translate the bird's behavior.
"Okay? I guess I'll see you later. Goodbye, Meri!" I waved goodbye and walked out the front door and the commotion of the overgrown crow stopped.
