Mmmmmm. Snuggles from my little dark cloud on a perfect day. I love my Ukraine.
My love carefully slid out of my hold and silently hot himself out of bed.
Nooooo!
No more snuggles.
Since I no longer had a reason to be in bed I propped myself up on the pillows.

Ukraine noticed my shuffling and turned around. "Oh, I'm sorry Tree, I didn't mean to wake you. Please go back to bed and rest," his voice was quiet and soft like the wind.
"What are you even doing up this early? You don't have anything that needs to be done at this time, love. Please lay back down with me." I smiled and opened my arms. Ukraine smiled back and rolled his eyes before strolling over, sitting on the bed, and embracing me. We held each other for a moment, enjoying the morning peace. As soon as I was going to pull him back into bed, he stood up. I whined.
"I know it's early, but I want to talk to my prick of a brother and see what he did to that ray of sunshine that cried himself to sleep and is carrying his baby. I know his sulking, angst-filled routine when he is feeling bad." He put on a shirt, which made me sad, "Leave Russ to me and focus on your brother." he spoke in a cheery voice. Once Raine was all dressed he gave me a simple kiss and left.

America's pov
☆•°☆°•☆

My God. Why the fuck would he ever say such a thing? I know he said it in a fit of anger in confusion, but why did he feel the need to say something so hurtful?

I know that my decision was terrible and that it infringes on our promise but what the hell was I supposed to do? Send back that scared young girl to be tossed aside, used, and sold off to some other alpha to be turned into a baby maker? I couldn't ever let that happen to another person. Ever.

I tossed and turned, trying to sleep. After hours of trying, I finally stopped the struggle and got off the couch. I dragged my feet as I walked to my brother's kitchen and started to cook breakfast to try to get out of my own mind.

"America, you should rest," Ukraine softly said from behind me. "I know," I mumbled. "I just need to get out of my mind." I sighed with my brother's lover. "I'm going to talk to Russia, he's probably at his sulking place. Anything you need me to say on your behalf?" he politely asked me. "Hmmm, maybe 'when you fucken calm down and can behave yourself like a functioning rational adult we can talk about what happened, little fucker' I think that should do it,"  I growled. Ukraine had a look of shock. "Oh damn, he said something bad, didn't he?" his voice was hushed and he sunk into his shoulders. "Yup!" I shouted back at him before continuing my cooking. I heard the door open and close behind me.

I hope that Russia feels fucken shitty about what he did.

"Hey Amy, whatcha doing there big brother of mine?" Canada cheerfully asked me.

 "Cooking." Was my one-word response.

"Cooking what?"

"Souls of bakers"

"Ooooooh sounds tasty!" He clapped his hands in joy.

I couldn't help but chuckle at him. I love my brother and his playful antics.

I finished breakfast and placed the full plates down for Maple and myself.  The plate contained toast with strawberry preserves on it and an omelet. Simple, easy, tasty.

"Thank you, Amy. This looks delisous!" Canada cheered. I smiled at him and said, "Thank you."

He took a bute and melted at the taste. "Oh my God, this is so fricken good. it's like an angel sent from the heavens had come down to make this," his words were jumbled because of the speed that he spoke and the food that was in his mouth. I laughed at his excitement. "I'm glad you like it." I took a bite and automatically knew what he was talking about. It was beyond heavenly. We both ate in comfortable silence. After we were done eating we washed the dishes and sat down on the couch in the same silence. The tall country sighed and proceeded to speak, "I hope you know that you are appreciated and loved, brother." I smiled at him weakly, "I know I am. I just did something stupid, but I know it had to be done to help someone and Russia got mad at me for it. I know that we will patch things up, but he said some upsetting things and I just needed to get out of there at the moment. I know that he will calm down and we can talk about it, but not now." Canada sunk in the chair and gave me a hug as I tried to compose myself.

Ukraine's pov

I walked to the bench and to no one surprise, there sits Russia.

"You know that he is an emotional mess, correct?" I spoke sternly. He slouched down more.

"I don't know what you said or did, but you fucking hurt him and I don't think it's the best idea to piss off the mate that you have claimed to be the love of your life on multiple occasions and is pregnant with your child," I growled at him. He seemed to cower into himself further.

"It's best you get your shit together before he fucks you up. Oh by the way America just wanted to say 'when you fucken calm down and can behave yourself like a functioning rational adult we can talk about what happened, little fucker.' Watch your back, Sir Cyka, or Canada will bash you over the head with a Maple syrup battle and toss you to the bears." And just like that I turned around and walked away from the man that just screwed up his whole life.
