Chapter 04

||Off's POV||

   The 3 days had pass, The boy is still in a bad condition, but not as bad when we found him. I already told Tay to look up for any information about the boy. It turns out that he's name is Gun Atthaphan Phunsawat, the gang took him away from his home when his own mom slept with their leader with the intention of stealing their money

   Sadly, they killed his mother and took him to pay for what his mother had done. So, it's been a year since they got him. I couldn't help but feel sad and worried for him. The sin of the parents should not be taken upon the child. That's what I learned from my grandfather

    Now, I got a call from Sara, one of the my friend and a nurse whom I assigned to take care of mr. Phunsawat while I'm away. Gun has finally woken up. Walking towards the car, I hop in and told the driver to go back to the house

   "Hurry up, Off!! He's thrashing around!" Sara said in a panicked tone. I heard screaming and shouting at the background

  "I'm on my way, just make sure he doesn't get hurt"

  "I'm the one getting hurt! Hey! Hold him down gently!" She shouted

    Minutes later, I hang up since we already arrived at the house. I went inside and made my way to the room where mr. Phunsawat is. I still heard some crashing and screaming. I slammed the door open, making everyone inside the room flinch

   I did not bother looking at the smashed vases and plates or even how chaotic this room is, my eyes landed on the boy at the corner, scared like a cat, trembling and have tears and fear in his eyes. He's clutching his knees and eyes darting on every part of the room

  "Thank God, you're finally here!" Sara exclaimed. I eyed the boy with worry, he's looking anywhere, our eyes not meeting each other. "We've been trying to calm him down but he thrashes around and scream whenever we try to get near him"

  I sighed "it's fine, I'll try. Get him some food and maybe some juice"

   Sara looks at me with confusion but nodded nonetheless. "Okay, if you say so" she said before leaving. I told the others to also leave me and the boy alone for now

   Taking a deep breath, I took a couple of step near him before he finally turns his head and looked at me straight in the eye. I gave him a soft smile but, he gave me a scared, fear and teary expression

   He backed himself up on the wall, wanting to get away and shaking his head from the other side to another. His body trembles more as I took another step, I crouch a little and place my hand in front of me a little

  "Sshhhh.... It's fine, I'm not going to hurt you" I said in a soft tone. He shook his head still trying to get away from from me "I promise, I'm not going to hurt you. Hm?"

   He stopped trembling a little but still have a scared look on his face. I offered him my hand a little, he looks at it with hesitation

  "My name is Off Jumpol, can I be your friend?" I asked softly "If it's a yes, you can touch my hand with the tip of your finger"

    I looked at him with a smile, the scared look on his face is gone, only a deep frown and hesitation left. He looks up to me again, I nodded, he gulped and slowly placed his trembling finger on my hand

  "Good boy" I said in a sweet tone. He looks at me again with a taint blush. He looks cute...

   All of the sudden. Sara's sudden voice scared the boy, causing him to retreat his finger. But, what got me surprised most of all is that when he jumped on me, burying his face on my chest while clutching my suit with both of his hands and trembling again
