Gun's POV
"He should be fine by now, Off. You don't need to worry further"
"What do you mean?! He's been out for days! How can you just tell me to not worry when the person I love is not well?!"
"Off! Listen to Krist for a second. He already said that there's nothing wrong with Gun, we just need to wait for him to wake up"
I heard voices around me, all of them are familiar yet, I can't open my eyes. Darkness, it was all darkness. My head is pounding, I tried once more to open my eyes or move a finger. I managed to do it after so may tries, my eyes slowly opens only to meet a blinding light but was immediately covered by a silhouette of a man
I felt a hand on my cheek, I blink a few time to get rid of the blurry sight. Once my vision adjusted, I saw P'Off's worried face. He looks like he didn't slept for days, he looks so pale and tired
I tried to talk but it only made me cough. P'Off immediately brought a cup of water near my mouth, he hold it up as he helped me sat up. I drank the water and it soothed my sore throat
"Are dizzy? You can lay down if you want" P'Off said with a soft tone
I looked at him and smiled "I-i-it's f-fine" my voice came out broken for how painful my throat feels
"Okay, I'm gonna call Krist for a moment, I'll be back" He said, he kissed my forehead before he left
I stayed rested in bed, I looked around and noticed that I'm inside a hospital room, though it's a bit bigger sized room. For some reason, I feel weak, I felt like something had happened but I can't seem to remember any of it. And making myself trying to remember it only makes my head hurts more
The door slowly opens, revealing P'Off with P'Zero and Dr.Krist. The two greeted me as P'Off went to my side and sat down on one chair. Dr.Krist walked towards me and started to check up on me
"Do you feel any pain, Gun?" He asked
"M-my...t-thr-oat..hurts..." Again, I sounded like a broken robot
He only nodded and wrote it down on his clipboard. He asked me a few questions regarding my health, P'Off and P'Zero stayed put and let the doctor do his job
"Okay, so I'm going to ask you one last but important question" He said looking at me thoroughly. I hesitantly nodded "Do you remember anything before you passed out?"
I looked at my lap and tried to remember everything that happened. I just remembered going downstairs to get a glass of water at the kitchen, when something caught my attention. I went out to look what is was then everything is a blur after that
I tried to explain everything to the doctor about what I remember that time without coughing. I took time to pause and soothe my throat since it was still hurting when I talk for too long
"Okay, that'll be it" the doctor said and faced P'Off and P'Zero "Just call me if needed"
After that, he left the room. P'Off is still sitting on my side while P'Zero excused himself to call his wife/mate. An awkward silence surrounded the room, until P'Off took my hand. I looked at him and he buried his nose onto my palm and sniffs it.
"You don't know how worried I was, Babii" He said with a tired tone "When we found you laying on the ground and unconscious, I panicked. Derek and Tay had o restrain me to avoid me attacking anyone who dares to come near you. I...I-I don't know what to do in those days when you were asleep"
As I listened. My heart aches for how broken and worried Papii sounded, I placed my other hand on his cheek and pulled him closer. I gave him a peck on the lips and a warm smile
"I'm fine now, see?" I said. His eyes scans my face, like he was unsure. "Please don't worry too much, Papii. I'm sure that I'll remember what happened very soon"
"That's not what I'm worried about, Babii. I'm worried that someone might be plotting on taking you away from me, and I don't want that"
Me thinking that someone wanted to take me away from Papii is enough to make my body tremble in fear. I remembered those days where I was held captive, where they would always beat me up and don't give me food. I didn't notice that my whole body was already shaking, I just felt Papii hugged me tight. But, my mind still lingers to all the possibilities if someone really is planning on taking me away from him
"P-p-please...d-don't le-let them take m-me away" I said with a trembling voice and tears flowing out of my eyes "I-I don't w-want to"
"Sshhhh..... Don't worry, I won't let them. They will have to kill me first before they take you away from me" Papii said
Papii rest his body on my side, still hugging me closely. My face on his chest, I can feel his breath on the top of my hair. Papii releases comforting pheromones, it helps me calm down a little, but my brain wouldn't stop
Sometimes, I couldn't stop thinking about, what if me and P'Off didn't meet? What if we didn't crossed each other's path? Will I still be in that situation...or will I be dead by now?
My mind lingers on its own, after a while, I felt my eyes were growing heavy. P'Off comforting pheromones and humming helps me fall asleep immediately, and this time, I hope I wouldn't get any nightmare.

Off's POV
I kept humming the same lullaby that my mom used to sing to me, while humming, I was in deep thought. Two days, Gun was out for two days and I was restless and getting annoyed at every little thing that my friends had been doing, like I would growl or even attack anyone who dares to lay a hand on Gun. When we brought Gun here at the hospital, they had to tie me up in order for the doctors to be able to do their jobs without me ripping them off of him or growling
Every scenario plays inside my mind, my hand stroking Gun's fluffy hair as my omega sleeps rather peacefully in my arms. He's safe, he's not hurt anymore. I kept replaying in my head, I still don't have a clue on who would've done that, I mean, it's inside the mansion. The security is really tight, who in the world would have the guts to broke in into my house?
Gun's soft snoring makes my heart flutter, I stare at his face and observe his soft features. He has a very chubby cheeks and very plump lips, really perfect for me. As I admire my boyfriend's features, a knock on the door caught me attention. My first instinct was to growl, but I held it in since I don't want to wake Gun up
"Come in" I said. The door opened and in my surprise, my Dad came in "Dad? Why are you here?"
"I just thought you will need someone to talk to" Dad said and sat down on the coach near he window
"I'm fine, just...still worried for his safety" I said as my gaze went to the man sleeping in my arms
"Then that's more reason for us to plan right away" Dad said with a serious tone "You know how much our world is dangerous for him. We don't want something to happen, our enemies might use him as a way of defeating you"
"I will not let that happen"
"Yes, I know you won't let it happen, but we don't know what the future holds so it's better to be prepared than to suffer the consequences"
Trying to keep my emotion stable, in order to not release any kind of pheromones instead of the one that'll comfort my babii. We talked in a hushed tone, after that Dad left but told me to meet him at his condo after Gun discharge from the hospital
Even men can be scared...when the person they sworn to protect...was taken away from them....
