The heaviness between the two of them suffocated them while the arousal seeped through their pores. Every sense had been heightened which didn't help the wild thoughts that would race through them. Olivia and Spencer bumped noses, controlling the urges they'd both felt. Which was proven to be more difficult the longer they stayed on the dance floor. Trying to keep their composure they both danced for a few more songs until the upbeat top forty playlist switched to a slower tempo. Leaving the friend group to exit the dance floor and head to the bar. Olivia and Spencer stayed behind when Coop turned back to watch the both of them.

"You coming?". The both of them looked at each other before looking back to Coop. "Nah go ahead without us,".  Coop eyed the both of them closely before shrugging. "You guys want a drink or something?". The both of them shook their heads. "Nah we're good, thanks Coop,". His best friend waved squeezing through the crowd to catch up with Patience, Simone, Chris, and Kia.

Olivia turned back to Spencer who'd already had his eyes on her. Watching her every move a slow smile spread on his lips. Olivia's cheeks heated up turning rosy pink, at his intense stare. Deepening into her eyes, she was grateful the lights above them had been dimmed enough to hide the blush that lingered on her cheeks. His eyes fell from hers down to her lips. Pulling her bottom lip in between her teeth, her heart raced at the thought that stayed permanent on her mind.

"You know..." Olivia started to speak catching Spencer's undivided attention. Leaning her head back she smiled. "There was just one last thing you promised me,". Spencer leaned his head to the side forgetting what he'd promised. "I clearly don't recall promising more than just a dance,". Olivia shook her head. "But you did. You told me that we'd only stay for an hour tops. Which you already broke since we'd been here for more than two, maybe three even,". Spencer softly laughed at her words.

"I didn't see you complaining when we were dancing just a few minutes ago,". Olivia agreed. "You make a valid point. I mean I wouldn't mind that kiss again,". Olivia smiled while Spencer leaned in for a kiss. Letting their lips linger, Olivia hummed the second she felt Spencer's lips leave hers. Softly opening her eyes, she met his once again. Leaving a permanent smile on her lips, she bit her bottom lip to contain her happiness.

"You promised me that we'd cuddle, and right now I'd want nothing more than to take off these heels, lay on the couch, and watch Christmas movies,". Spencer agreed. Until the thought of laying on the couch, and resting had come to his mind, he hadn't felt the ache in his ribs. Breathing through the pain, he'd managed to push it away but as the night went on, and the medicine he had taken earlier started to wear off, he wanted nothing more than to rest his feet.

"I wouldn't mind that one bit,". "What do you say we get out of here then? Besides I think my parents are staying in Crenshaw for the night. Leaving the house all to myself..." Olivia trailed. She lightly tugged at the collar of his shirt, Watching her eyes lower down his body. She smacked her lips tightly together trying to hide the smile that wanted to appear. Leaning in closer to his ear, letting every word she spoke linger. Talking in a sauntering voice, she grabbed his full attention. "Mind spending the night with me? It's getting late to drive you home anyways I can drop you off tomorrow. I just wouldn't want to drive back home alone, past midnight,". Spencer agreed while his pupils grew big, keeping his gaze glued to hers.

"I wouldn't want that either. Besides I think if I don't recall you're supposed to be my nurse for the night,". Olivia raised her eyebrows when her face lit up. "That's right. Speaking of being your nurse we should get you home to put some ice on your ribs,". Spencer nodded lightly grabbing at his aching ribs. She could tell just by the wince in his expression he'd been feeling it. "Then let's get you home,". Olivia interlaced her hand in his guiding him through the house, to say their goodbyes before exiting the party.
