The sun warmed her skin, as she laid on the lounge chair basking in the sweet smell of coconut suntan lotion. The sound of the ocean and the birds that sang above her felt like music to her ears. A calmness washed over her, feeling at utter peace. A warm breeze would come every so often cooling her down, sinking her deeper into the lounge chair. Softly opening her eyes, she squinted from the sunlight that was glistening across the clear blue ocean dancing beneath it. The heavy waves crashed along the shore as the white foam ran up the shoreline. Breathing in deeply, a smile never left her face removing her sunglasses from the top of her head and placing them over her eyes. Taking a deep breath in before exhaling, she turned to Simone who was laying beside her.

"Should I ask what our game plan is this weekend?" Simone asked turning to catch a hint of a smile that appeared on Olivia's lips. She wiggled her eyebrows causing Olivia to laugh under her breath. Shaking her head Olivia flipped the page of the celebrity gossip magazine she bought back at the airport. "I have no clue what you are talking about Simone but please elaborate,". Her friend smiled. "Girl do I even have to? You know exactly what I'm talking about. If you'd ask me-" Simone trailed when Olivia cut her mid-sentence. "But I'm not,". Now looking at Simone, she raised an eyebrow.

"Oh but you did. You technically dragged me into this,". Olivia shook her head in disagreement. "No, I did not,". Simone smiled. "Oh yes you did,". "You secretly love it," Olivia licked her finger to turn the page. Simone agreed. "I never said I didn't. But as your wing-woman it only means I have to see it through. You know I got you right? Whatever you need I'm on it. Just say the word and it's done,". Olivia laughed. "It comes with perks you know?" Simone continued.

Humoring her friend she set her magazine on her lap lowering her sunglasses to the bridge of her nose as she now gave Simone her full attention. "And if I would agree what would these perks include?". A slow smile spread on Simone's lips. "First we need to come up with the operation name. Every good plan has an even better name. So what are you thinking? Because I'm really loving operation sex on the beach. S.O.B for short or is that a bit too obvious?". Olivia's mouth dropped immediately after hearing the words come out of her friend's mouth. "Simone! I'm not having sex on the beach if that's what you're thinking". Her words fell to a whisper. Simone burst into laughter. "Not what I meant...unless-". Simone trailed as a sly smile spread on her lips when Olivia immediately shut her down.

"No absolutely not. It's uncomfortable and I don't need sand going places where the sun don't shine,". Simone laughed. "Don't knock it till you try it Liv,". Olivia's mouth parted stopping herself before continuing. "I'm not going to even say it. I don't even want to know the details,". Simone couldn't contain her laughter seeing the embarrassment in her friends face. "Okay fine, sex on the beach is crossed out of the list," Simone groaned taking out her phone to cross it out. Olivia scrunched her eyebrows and nose snatching the phone out of her hands.

"You have a whole list?". Simone grinned. "Girl I told you I'm your best wing woman. I've been scheming and plotting and already making a game plan for you. When I told you, I got you, I meant it,". Olivia half-listened to her friend bursting into laughter at the names she had written down. Olivia shook her head at all of them but one. "Wait why do I actually kind of like that one,". Olivia pointed to the last name on the list when Simone perked happily to hear that her friend was slowly growing to the idea. "Are we really about to do this?" Simone asked. Olivia sighed. "I didn't agree to this,". Shifting her attention back to the magazine on her lap, she flipped the page.

"But you didn't say no either. So in my book, I'm taking that as a yes,". Simone looked ahead at the boys who were throwing the football Jordan packed in his suitcase around. "I'm telling you by the end of the weekend you'll be thanking me," Simone stuck out her hand waiting for Olivia to take it. Olivia laughed not really agreeing to the plan Simone had but knew it'd been her only option. Without Simone's plan, Olivia feared she and Spencer wouldn't be able to get much time to themselves. With Jordan already making plans to keep them busy and Dillon wanting to be the third wheel. Olivia's chances of ever having alone time with Spencer were running slim. And with their parents already watching their every move it was going to be hard to do it alone. Letting out a deep sigh, Olivia rested her hand on top of Simone's wiggling their fingers together.

"Operation slip n slide is underway," Simone couldn't contain her excitement as she moved in her seat. Olivia laughed. "You really got it all planned out don't you?". Simone nodded grinning from ear to ear. "Oh girl you have no idea,". Olivia bit her lip to stop the smile from forming. "So what's the first step in your plan? Because the two problems with that plan are two people. Jordan and Dillon. Our parents seem to be catching on to the idea of Spencer and me as well,". Simone smiled already two steps ahead of her. A notification rang from her phone when Olivia checked it to see a message from Simone.

"What is this?" Olivia asked a bit confused as to why Simone had sent her a calendar. "This is our itinerary for the weekend with everyone's schedules. We are packed with activities your parents have set up and some we wanted to do like surf and paddleboard lessons tomorrow morning. But there are grey time slots that haven't been filled in yet. And as you can see it looks like Dillon and Jazmyn are going to be booked for tomorrow. After breakfast with your mom and Grace, we have a few hours in between before we have to meet them at the spa at 3 pm. Trust me Liv there is time. When I told you I got you, I really meant I got you,". Olivia was amazed at how detailed Simone's plan was.

"I don't know if I should thank you or be worried about how much time you have on your hands,". Simone laughed. "A bit of both. But the plan is not only for you Liv. Kind of needed to make it to see when we can escape Jazmyn since your mom's got eyes all over the resort. Besides we were once going to be sisters so I kind of owed it to you since you kept my secret as well. Call it even-" Simone trailed falling to silence as both of the girls now had their full attention on Jordan and Spencer.

"My oh my did Christmas come early," Simone's eyes trailed downward. The boy's bodies glistened with sweat from the hot sun when Olivia agreed. Lowering her glasses to the bridge of her nose, she caught Spencer's irresistible smile as he held the football in his hand. Olivia's heart raced uncontrollably the second he turned to nod in her direction flashing his smile as he waved making the butterflies float heavily in the pit of her stomach. Her eyes roamed his body settling on the mid-length blue pineapple swim shorts he had on that fit him just right. Olivia's tongue swiped the top of her teeth, mesmerized as she watched Spencer throw the ball back to Jordan.

"Hey, Spence go long!" Jordan called out when Spencer ran out towards the ocean letting his toes sink into the wet sand feeling the cool water underneath him. The girls watched as Spencer looked up jumping mid-air to catch the ball just as a wave came from behind him smacking him in the back and pulling him under. The three of them fell silent as they watched Spencer get taken by the wave and disappearing under the water. Sitting up Olivia took off her glasses to get a clearer view of where he'd gone.

Seconds later a sigh of relief escaped her seeing him wash up onshore. Jordan burst into laughter leaning forward holding onto his knees. Spencer let the water take him to shore as he held out his hand with the football in it. "Still got it,". Spencer smiled a bit out of breath. Getting up off the floor he jumped back into the water washing himself off.

Olivia leaned back in the lounge chair placing her sunglasses back on, pushing them to the bridge of her nose watching Spencer walk over to them. He was soaked as the saltwater ran down his body, while Olivia's eyes never left his. Dilating as they trailed down his body landing back on his blue pineapple shorts where Spencer adjusted them before meeting Olivia's gaze. A smile spread on his lips watching her eyes roam his body before meeting his. Walking over to Olivia, Spencer leaned in placing a wet kiss on her lips. Tasting the reminisce of the saltwater that lingered on his, Olivia hummed grabbing the back of his head to deepen their kiss.

"Gross," Jordan groaned as Olivia shooed him off. "Get over it Jordan,". Spencer laughed kissing Olivia once more, this time letting the kiss linger to bother Jordan. "How's that? Better?" Spencer asked. Olivia kept her eyes closed for a moment longer humming at his words. "I think I need another for good luck,". Spencer smiled into the kiss as Jordan grunted throwing a french fry at them.

"Worse,". Spencer caught the fry before throwing it back at Jordan. Grabbing the towel at the edge of the lounge chair, he dried himself off before grabbing the sunscreen bottle and handing it to Olivia. "Mind helping me?". Olivia smiled sitting up and tapping the space in between her legs for Spencer to sit.
