Olivia's smile only grew wider with every step she took closing the space in between them. Captured by her magnetic presence, Spencer leaned against the rental car, caught in a daze. He could feel the wind knocked out of him the second he met her eyes. As if time slowed enough for Spencer to remember every second of their encounter. Her smile, her eyes, her beauty captivated his attention bringing the time to move more quickly the second she wrapped him in an embrace.
"Hey handsome," Olivia spoke beside his ear. "Hey, beautiful. You gotta give me a warning next time you look like this,". Looking gorgeous as always, Olivia wore an off-the-shoulder white crop top, pairing it with white and blue tropical shorts. Closing his eyes, he breathed in the familiar scent that infatuated his senses. Her signature perfume and lavender shampoo brought him the overwhelming feeling of being home. Something he'd missed instantly the second she left the room. It didn't matter if it was just for a couple of seconds or hours, nothing felt safer to him than being in her arms.
Her laughter only made Spencer wrap his arms tighter around her. "Baby I could be wearing sweats and you still would tell me the same thing," Olivia pulled away fixing the collar of his tropical button-down. Spencer nodded in agreement knowing it was true. Olivia could be wearing the baggiest of clothes, hair tied up in a bun, no make-up on, scattered dots of pimple cream on her face, and he would still think she is the most beautiful girl in the world. "You ain't wrong about that,".
Olivia shook her head in disagreement. "And I would very much disagree with that statement. Wait until you see me when I wake up. Eye boogers, hair looking like a bird's nest. You know I'm not Beyonce, right? I did not wake up like this," Olivia said causing an adoring smile out of Spencer. "Even if you don't look like Beyoncé, I'd still say you're the prettiest girl I've ever seen. Eye boogers and all. Isn't that why they say for better or for worse?" Spencer joked leaving Olivia's mouth to drop.
"First take me on a date before you start proposing. And second of all, we are not married so the 'for better or for worse' doesn't count,". Spencer disagreed. "I think the 'for better or for worse' would apply to dating as well. Clearly they have not seen you hangry,". Olivia crossed her arms parting her mouth but stopping her self knowing he was right. She turned into someone she did not recognize when the hunger set in.
"I'm going to agree to disagree with those statements and let them slide for now since you did surprise me with a...Jeep?". Olivia asked now focusing on the car Spencer was leaning against. "You got us a Jeep to use for the day?" she repeated her question. Spencer smiled pulling the both of them off the car. "I did, but after I got a sneak peek of my Christmas present yesterday I may need to rethink your second gift,". Olivia shook her head. "Baby...this is perfect," Olivia's overall mood changed. Moving his arms from her mid-back to her hips, Olivia caressed her hands on either side of his face rubbing her thumb across his cheek.
Placing a tender kiss on his lips, Olivia's smile only grew wider. "You know our favorite dates of mine are car rides. You are all I need. I don't wish for expensive materialistic gifts. Quality time with you is all I want. And believe me, I will soak up every minute we have without Dillon or Jordan interrupting,". Olivia pouted her lips thinking of how special this date was to her and how much it meant. "Thank you. I love it, baby. No boy has ever done this for me," Olivia squeezed his hands holding back the tears. Spencer scrunched his eyebrows.
"No boy has ever rented you a car before?" Spencer joked lightening the mood. Olivia rolled her eyes slapping his shoulder. "No dummy. No boy has ever surprised me with a date before. It's just nice and thoughtful that's all. You put time and effort and that makes it even more special,". Olivia wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him in for a kiss. She could feel the smile form on his lips as she kissed him. "So I'm your first?" he asked raising an eyebrow. Olivia softly laughed shaking her head. "You are my first,".
