Holding a bouquet of burgundy roses in her hands, Olivia slowly made her way down the aisle. With it being their third wedding of the year, she felt confident enough to walk down without missing a beat. She took one step at a time, making sure to look to the boys ahead landing on a familiar pair of browns that had always made the butterflies in her stomach float heavily.

The only boy she ever thought of a life with and the only boy she could ever see herself marrying. And with each wedding she had been a part of in the last year, she couldn't help but think of her own one day. One where she too would be in a white wedding gown, surrounded by friends and family, declaring her love to the man she loved and the only man she wanted to spend forever with.

Nothing felt safer to her than gazing into his eyes and feeling the comfort of his love and support. Something she hadn't felt with anyone before. But somehow at that moment, something had felt different. His eyes hadn't welcomed her with the warmth and tenderness she usually felt looking into them. For a moment they were distant, heavier even. Weighing her down the deeper her eyes fell into his pool of browns.

Just from one look, she could tell that something had been wrong. Studying the expression on his face only confirmed her point. Olivia's smile slowly faded as her heart got caught in her throat. Chewing on the inside of her lip, her mind raced to overthink worst-case scenarios not helping her worried mind. Instead, she decided to look down at the burgundy roses in her hands hoping to distract herself.

Making it to the end of the aisle Olivia hugged her father before walking over to Spencer. Giving him a longing look, she pulled him in for an embrace, whispering beside his ear. "You okay?". Spencer cleared his throat keeping the encounter brief. "Yeah, I'm good Liv,". Pulling away, she met his distant gaze, which only softened for a short moment before quickly disappearing with his smile. Although he said he was good she still hadn't been convinced he was as his expression left her with open-ended questions, wondering what had happened since their last conversation. But instead of pressing on, she decided to leave it at that for the moment.

Walking to the other side of the aisle, Olivia now looked towards the double doors awaiting her mother's entrance. Holding the bouquet of roses tightly in her hands, her mind couldn't help but race back to Spencer as her eyes wandered back to his. Taking a deep breath in before exhaling, the music suddenly grew louder signaling her mother was moments away from walking down the aisle.

Her parent's wedding song had started to play softly in the background as everyone stood up awaiting Laura's entrance. A collection of gasps and sniffles was heard throughout the small group just when Laura and Jordan walked through the double doors. Looking gorgeous as ever in a beautiful white gown that fell past her ankles, her mother smiled with love in her eyes as the tears streamed down her face. A clear of a throat from her father quietly wiping the tears from his eyes caused her own to stream down her cheeks.

As if the reality of her parents getting married finally had hit her, the tears she had held in for the last year made their way to the surface. Olivia let them fall one by one to the ground below. In an instant, her heart had become full knowing the one thing she'd wished for in the last year was finally coming true.

On her darkest of days and loneliest of nights, she would close her eyes and wish that her parents would find love again. And that she too would find a boy that would love her unconditionally. Little did she know that boy would be Spencer. They'd been through trial and tribulations in the short amount of time of being together, and even though this year had been the hardest year for her thus far, she would do it over again if it meant being with the boy that stood across from her. Looking past her father, her eyes landed on Spencer's who were already on hers.
