"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Honolulu International Airport. Local time is 10:00 am and the temperature is 80 degrees Fahrenheit. On behalf of Hawaiian Airlines and the entire crew, I'd like to thank you for joining us on this trip and we are looking forward to seeing you onboard again in the near future!" The pilot said just as Olivia opened the shade to see that the plane was descending to the runway.
Their eyes glistened seeing the clear ocean blue waters below them as excitement filled their faces and a collection of gasps were heard throughout the plane. Already smelling the sunscreen in the air, and the salty ocean breeze, Olivia turned to Spencer who had read her mind. The first thing on their to-do list was to go to the beach as soon as they were settled in. Waiting for their next instructions, they waited their turn to exit the plane. Helping Olivia with her luggage, He followed her out of the hot stuffy plane and into the bright sunlight that beamed across the burning pavement. Standing at the top of the stairs just outside of the airplane, Spencer breathed in the sweet tropical smell as the sun rays warmed his skin. A slow smile spread on his lips as he was filled with nerves and excitement being that it was his first time in Hawaii.
"Oh I could definitely get used to this,". Passing Olivia by, he gently nudged her catching her gaze. "Remind me why we didn't come to Hawaii in the first place?". Olivia softly laughed. "We thought we wanted more of the traditional white Christmas. To be bundled up by the fireplace after skiing and snowboarding all day. Drinking some hot cocoa and cuddling under the blankets to keep warm type of holiday weekend,". Spencer shook his head stuck in a daze looking up to catch a flock of seagulls flying right above them. "And we were so wrong for that,". Olivia half agreed as she still wished they would have gone to the cabin.
"So wrong. But...you know it's never too late to get on that one way leaving to Colorado in about half an hour,". Olivia wiggled her eyebrows while Spencer half listened. "And leave paradise? Liv we just got here? Besides why would I want to be bundled up with layers when I can see you in an outfit like this?". Spencer asked looking down to see Olivia in a crop top and shorts. Causing a burst of laughter to escape her. "Speaking of too many layers," Olivia gestured to Spencer wearing Jeans and a short sleeve. He flashed his irresistible smile closing the distance between each other. She shook her head, taking a step back.
"Eye's up Mr. James. We have to keep our distance remember? Our parents are around and they still don't know about us,". Spencer sighed taking a step back. "Liv this could've all been avoided if we would have told them over dinner as we planned to,". Olivia groaned with regret knowing he was right. "I know. And we will. After this weekend we'll tell them. I promise. I wouldn't want to tell them in the next few days when our moms are already suspicious about us. I still want it to be the two of us and we can't do that if our parents know," Olivia said. Spencer didn't like the idea but knew it was best since their parents would be watching them like hawks.
"As soon as we get back we'll tell them. I don't want to wait another minute Liv. I want you to be my girl and not just behind closed doors," Spencer met her gaze. A seductive smile spread on her lips biting her bottom when she rocked her head from side to side. "Spence I'm your girl and nothing is going to change that. But why do I kind of like the part about the behind-the-closed door?" Olivia wiggled her eyebrows. Spencer scrunched his playing along.
"So now we buddies behind closed doors huh? Because I swear a few nights ago in your room we were more than that,". Spencer teased leaning in so only she could hear. Olivia bit her lip trying to hide her smile. "If I do recall my door was closed. So my statement is not that far off," Olivia shrugged. Cutting their conversation short, the both of them turned back to their mothers followed by Billy and Principal Carter who were the last ones off the plane. The four were cackling stumbling down the stairs just as Jordan, Simone, Dillon, and Jazmyn waited at the bottom to catch them. Spencer leaned towards Olivia.
