All throughout the walk to Olivia's next surprise, she couldn't help but guess at what it was they were going to be doing but with no help from Spencer, they settled on talking about her parent's wedding. "How do you feel about tomorrow?" Spencer asked. He kissed the top of her head, while she had her hands wrapped around his right arm. "We haven't had much time to process what had been happening with everything being thrown at us all at once,". Olivia let out a long sigh agreeing.

"Yeah, I guess I really haven't had time to process it myself if I'm being completely honest. Everything happened so quickly. One minute we were packing for Denver and the next we were on a plane to Hawaii," Olivia spoke as the question now weighed heavy in her mind. They'd been so busy in the past few days, she really didn't have much time to think about her parents getting married. In a way, she was still in shock, overwhelmed with happiness to be getting her family back together under one roof again. But at the same time, she couldn't help but think in the back of her mind if they were rushing to get married.

After a brief moment of silence, Spencer spoke taking her out of her thoughts. "I did not expect to be having Christmas in Hawaii that's for sure,". Olivia smiled. "Neither did I. Even though I sometimes still wish we would've had the weekend to ourselves. I'm kind of glad we came even if we didn't really have a choice,". Spencer softly laughed under his breath agreeing. "It could be worse Liv. Hawaii ain't too bad and we still managed to find time alone,". Olivia looked towards the wooden boards below her snuggling deeper into Spencer's shoulder.

"The best part about this whole trip was that we were still able to spend it together. But to answer your question about how I'm feeling...I guess I would say a mix of emotions. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for my parents. I don't know...maybe it's me...I can't help but think that they are rushing into getting married, and not thinking this through. I just...don't want to get my hopes up to have them be crushed in a couple of months," Olivia let out a long sigh when Spencer squeezed her hand grabbing her attention.

Slowing to a stop he stood in front of her rubbing his thumbs across her cheek. He could see the anxiousness in her eyes, the hint of worry that filled them, clouding her thoughts with what-ifs. A smile formed on her lips easing the anxiety she felt that was bubbling up the second she met his eyes. Relaxing her shoulders, Olivia took a deep sigh listening to Spencer speak.

"Liv I know it may seem like your parents are rushing into this given the short notice of their wedding. But we both know they love each other. They just needed time apart to remember that,". Spencer stopped for a moment deepening his gaze into hers before continuing.

"You know a little wise birdie taught me that with all the bad in the world and the hell of a year we've been through, we sometimes forget to celebrate the good. And this is good Liv. Your parents getting back together is beautiful to see. They found love again and enough to put the past in the past and move on. I was skeptical at first too, but I could see the light in coach Baker's eyes when your mom enters the room. The same light I see when you're around me,".

Olivia's heart melted at his words caressing his cheek, she gazed into his eyes filled with love and admiration. Shaking her head she didn't understand what she had done to deserve a man like Spencer, but she very well knew that she never wanted to take him for granted.

"It's the reason why I know that no matter what happens, we can get through anything and still find a way back to each other,". And with those last words, Olivia pulled him in kissing him deeper than she had ever done before. His words resonated with her melting every worry she had and in return hopeful for the future and whatever it may bring. Resting their foreheads against one another, Spencer smiled. "Now how about we go and see your second surprise of the day,". Olivia grinned from ear to ear containing her excitement.
