I have tried to incorporate some of the lyrics of "Strong enough" here. And I hope that you all enjoy my mystery man. And I do like leaving Bronn a little dumbfounded. 😄

"(Y/n)!" The two men exclaimed as she made her way into the room. The female sellsword nodding respectfully to the little lion. Bronn rising from his chair and making his way over to her. (Y/n) holding out her hand to stop his advance.

"Tyrion, I was hoping that you would still have need of my services." (Y/n) continued. Focusing all her attention on the little lion.

"Of course (Y/n). You know that you are more than welcome to return at any time that you like. I told you that. I will always have want of your service. If you feel ready to return, I will be more than happy to have you back by my side." Tyrion replied. Completely ignoring the glare coming in his direction for the sellsword.

"Thank you. But first, if you would allow me a few moments alone with Bronn. I believe that we need to discuss a few things. Clear the air before I return to my normal duties." The female sellsword continued. The little lord nodding in agreement, before getting down from his chair and making his way to the door. The youngest Lannister leaving the two together yet wishing that he could be a fly on the wall.

(Y/n) couldn't help but shake her head as Bronn made his way back over to his chair and indicated for her to join him. Despite everything, she had always had the utmost respect for Bronn. In spite of his not so stellar reputation, he had never pretended to be something, or anything he wasn't. What you saw, was what you got. And (Y/n) would always appreciate him for that. She would always admire him for his bravery. For his skill on the battlefield. How he had stood side by side and back to back with her when the fighting had been at its worst. And she would always care for him as a brother in arms. But anything other than that, was now completely out of the question.

She had perhaps been fooling herself when she thought that he could be faithful. When she had believed his promises of fidelity. When she had hoped that she could finally be the only woman that he would ever want or need. But now she knew that Bronn had been kidding himself as much as he had her. Bronn was Bronn. His eye, as well as his hands would always wander. He was battle hardened. Rough and tough. A man that took no shit from anyone and cared even less about what others thought. And even though those were the qualities that she looked for in a man, Bronn had finally proven that he wasn't the man for her. His visit to the brothel, the final push that she had needed to appreciate that there was someone else in the Red Keep that was all those things, and more. A man that she knew she could depend on. A man that had picked up the pieces that Bronn had left behind.

                                                              >>----------------------------<<

Bronn couldn't help but stare as (Y/n) took a seat across from him. It had really only been a short while since they had last seen one another last, yet it could have been a lifetime. The sellsword feeling his heart pound as she finally looked at him. Her gaze colder and more distant than it had ever been before.

For the first time in his life, he actually found that he wanted to apologise. To say sorry for something that he had done. To say sorry for his actions, to the one person that had always stuck with him through thick and thin. But he knew that even if he did apologise. Even if he got down on bended knee and swore never to do it again. Swore that from now on, he would be forever faithful, it would fall on deaf ears. Yet whatever was about to happen. Whatever (Y/n) was about to say, Bronn knew that he would always admire her. He would always know that she was meant for more than being a sellsword. That she was too good to sell her blade to any lord or lady that had enough gold to pay for her skill. That she was even too good for Tyrion. He knew that he would always respect her for her skill with a blade and bow. For her courage in even the most adverse situations. For the fact that she had stood side by side, and back to back with him on countless incursions. And how she had dragged his arse out of more fights and dangerous situations than he would care to remember. Bronn knowing that despite all the bravado, if it hadn't been for (Y/n) watching his back, he could have been dead several times over.

"(Y/n). I'm.........."

"Please don't say that you are sorry for what you did, Bronn. We both know that if you really cared, then you wouldn't have felt the need to give Baelish any more of Tyrion's gold. I have actually come to thank you." (Y/n) interrupted. The female sellsword chuckling softly, as Bronn furrowed his brows in confusion.

"Thank me?..........."

"Yes. Thank you, Bronn. Because you see, if you hadn't done what you had done, now. You would have done it eventually. And at least this way, its over with and I can move on." (Y/n) continued. Smiling at the still confused Bronn.

"You see, Bronn. I don't need an apology. There is absolutely nothing that you can say or do to change what you've done. I never should have expected a miracle from you, and its obvious now that you'll never change for anyone. I've already heard the reasons why you do such things. I've seen it so many times before. And I can only imagine where else you've been, and what else you've been up to since I haven't been by your side." (Y/n) explained, as she got to her feet and moved to the window. Determined to tell Bronn everything that she had to say, before someone made his way to the room to meet her.

"All I can hope, is that your whore was worth it. Not just the gold that she cost you. But everything else that its cost you too." (Y/n) added. As she turned back to look at Bronn. The sellsword finding himself speechless for the first time in........well.......forever.

"While I was doing other things for Tyrion, I realised that I was strong enough without you by my side. That, it was you that needed me to constantly save your arse, and not the other way around. That there was no reason for me to cry about what you did, because I shouldn't have expected any more than you just being you. And I am not going to be losing any sleep, because you cheapen yourself. Though I can assure you that none of Baelish' whores will ever be worth even half of me. So, you will never see me cry, and this is a goodbye of sorts. For even though I will be returning to watch over Tyrion with you, that will be it. There will be nothing more between us than that. We will always be brothers in arms, Bronn. And I will continue to watch your back as I always did. But now, now I have someone to watch mine in return. Someone whose arms I found because you can't keep your cock out of Baelish' girls." (Y/n) continued. Breathing a huge sigh of relief as the words left her mouth. Knowing now that she could truly move on.

"You.......you found someone else? You're with someone else? Who...who........" Bronn began. Getting up from his feet and joining (Y/n) by the window. The sellsword not sure how to take the news that she was leaving him, just like that. Bronn turning and looking over at the door, as he heard the ingress swing open. The sellsword furrowing his brows, as a figure stood in the opening. (Y/n) smiling as she saw the man.

"That would be me." Sandor huffed. The big man crossing his arms over his broad chest as he glared at Bronn. (Y/n)'s smile broadening as she made her way over to the man that almost filled the open doorway. The female sellsword placing a soft kiss to the cheek of the Hound.

"You ready?" Sandor enquired, as he held out his arm for (Y/n) to take. The skilled swordswoman taking it happily and letting the big man lead her from the room. Bronn watching as the pair made their way down the long corridor, knowing that from now on, life would no longer be what he had hoped for. And that with Sandor by her side, (Y/n) would be stronger than she had ever been before.
