Have you ever hated someone so much that you thought you could literally taste it? That every time you looked at them you had the urge to wipe the smug grin off their face. That you wished that you had never met them, and hoped that they would just disappear from the face of the earth? Well, that was how (Y/n) felt every time she looked at a certain sarcastic sellsword, ever since Tyrion had brought Bronn with him back to the Red Keep.

Not that Bronn could really ever say anything too much. (Y/n) was after all the only sister of king Robert. The only one of his siblings that the old soak seemed to have any time, or feelings for. But that had never stopped the sellsword from constantly making snide comments and sarcastic remarks every chance he got. The pair seeming to take great delight in hating one another. No one failing to notice that the beauteous doe was perfectly capable of giving as good as she got, from the not so subtle Bronn.

Tyrion for one couldn't understand why Bronn seemed to have taken against (Y/n) so immediately. Personally, Tyrion had always found (Y/n) to be exceptionally intelligent, funny, kind, and sweet. The little lion believing that she was the best of the Baratheons. A lady that displayed the true heart and fury of the stags. A woman, that on one hand would make any man a wonderful bride. And then on the other could cut down anyone if a sword were placed in her hand.

Tyrion rolled his eyes as Bronn threw open the door to the room. The sellsword storming in, slopping some wine into the largest glass he could find, and then throwing himself into the chair across the table from Tyrion.

"Not having a good day?" Tyrion chuckled, as Bronn grumbled under his breath. Gulping down the wine that sloshed around in the glass.

"Bloody woman. Thinks she's so damn smart. If she wasn't a lady I'd.......I'd......" Bronn hissed, as Tyrion tried his best not to laugh.

"Do I take it that you and the beautiful Lady Baratheon have had another run in?" Tyrion asked, despite knowing full well the answer to his question.

"Bloody woman." Bronn grumbled again, before gulping down the rest of the wine in his glass. The sellsword reaching over and grabbing the wine jug so that he could refill the glass vessel.

"I have never understood why you dislike (Y/n) so much. I have always found her to be one of the fairest ladies that I have ever met. A true credit to her name. Other than you, I have never come across anyone that doesn't like her. Even Cersei speaks highly of her. And Cersei never speaks highly of anyone." Tyrion chuckled again. As Bronn slammed his once again empty glass onto the table. The sellsword continuing to grumble under his breath. The only words that Tyrion could ascertain were 'bloody woman' over and over again.

"May I enquire as to what (Y/n) has done this time?" Tyrion asked. Now sure that he had never seen Bronn quite this angry after one of his and the doe's numerous altercations.

"Tourney." Bronn huffed indignantly, as he refilled his glass yet again.

"Tourney? Would you care to elaborate a little?" Tyrion continued. Not sure why the kings latest up and coming tourney, should be the cause of an argument between Bronn and the doe.

"She says that she's entering." Bronn explained. Tyrion still not sure why this should be an issue, unless Bronn was worried that she might beat him.

Tyrion had seen (Y/n) fight. She, like her two oldest brothers, was no stranger to the battlefield. (Y/n) had learnt the art of war as she had stood by their sides. And even though she had been far too young to fight when Robert had rebelled. The young doe had watched intently as Robert and Stannis strategised. Watched as they lay waste to the dragons. Picking up all her older siblings military skills with ease, as well as a gift for politics which she shared with Renly. Tyrion believing that seeing the sister of the king face the likes of The Hound, could be quiet entertaining. And if Robert had no qualms about (Y/n) fighting, then why should the sellsword.

"So? I have seen (Y/n) fight. She is exceptionally good. I am sure that she will make the tourney much more interesting than they normally are. As far as I can recall, we have never had a lady compete before." Tyrion reasoned. Still not sure what Bronn's problem was.

"I told er she couldn't." Bronn began. The sellsword huffing as the little lion began to laugh.

"Wait. Let me get this right. You tried to tell a Baratheon what to do? You tried to tell (Y/n) Baratheon what she could do? Oh, my dear Bronn. What were you thinking? If (Y/n) does not listen to any of her brothers, she is most definitely not going to listen to you. (Y/n) has always done exactly what she wants to do. And if she wishes to fight in Robert's tourney, that is exactly what she is going to do. Why is it any concern of yours, anyway? Are you afraid that if you have to face her, that she might actually beat you?" Tyrion enquired, as he grabbed for the wine jug before Bronn could take it. The little lord pouring the last of the contents into his glass.

"She doesn't have enough experience ta fight against tha likes of Clegane, or whoever else this damn tourney is gonna attract. I told er she couldn't fight, cos she might get hurt. Or even worse, somethin could happen, and she could get killed." Bronn growled, as he got to his feet and began to pace the room. Tyrion not quiet believing what he was seeing or hearing. The littlest lion finally realising, that all the sellswords sarcastic comments and snide remarks were to cover the fact that he actually cared for the youngest Baratheon. Possibly even loved her. Tyrion finding it hard to believe that Bronn was actually capable of really loving someone other than himself. But as the sellsword continued to pace and swear under his breath. Tyrion knew that there could be no other explanation, other than that the sellsword was besotted with the beautiful doe. And that in his own strange way, Bronn was desperate to protect her.

"(Y/n) will be fine." Tyrion began. Knowing that he had to tread carefully. That if he confronted Bronn with what he believed was the truth. The sellsword would fervently deny it. Possibly making the whole thing even worse. The little lion knowing that if (Y/n) had the same feelings for Bronn, as he had for her. Then he would have to make a plan to bring the two waring parties together. And the tourney could actually be the perfect place to do it.

"Bronn. There is nothing that you can do or say, that will stop (Y/n). She is perfectly capable of dealing with the likes of the Hound. Though if you are right, and (Y/n) is not experienced enough, she will be out before she has to face anyone that could really hurt her. And just think. You could finally be able to prove that you are a better fighter than her. And then maybe the rest of us will get some peace from you two bickering like a pair of children. You have always said that if she wasn't a lady, then you would love to fight her. To show her that you are the greater warrior. Well, now you have the chance." Tyrion continued. Hoping to reason with Bronn. A subtle smile coming to his lips as the sellsword stumped back in his chair and groaned two simple words.

"Bloody woman."
