Jaime, Tyrion, and Bronn had sat, watched and listened as (Y/n) had outlined her plan, between mouthfuls of egg. None of them surprised that, A, she would come up with something like this. And, B, that she could eat that much. The trio trying not to laugh as yet another plate of food was placed in front of her. It more than obvious that she hadn't eaten so well, in quite a while.
"Are you sure that you can trust all these men?" Tyrion asked. Regretting the question as soon as it left his lips, as (Y/n) looked up from her plate of food and glared at him.
"Tyrion Lannister! Don't you trust me?" (Y/n) huffed, as she dropped her fork onto the white piece of crockery in front of her.
"Do you think that I would have Sandor send for them if I didn't trust them? Do you think I would send for them if I thought that Waya and I could handle all this ourselves? The Walkers are crazy. But that said, they aren't stupid. They wouldn't have survived this long out here if they were. And if Jaime is right, then we aren't just dealing with the boys anymore. We are going to be dealing with a whole lot more than that. And I want to be prepared. I have a terrible feeling that all of this is about a lot more than just pissing off your father and robbing a few miners. And if that is the case, and as much as I know that you all can handle yourselves in a gun fight, we are going to need as much help as we can get. Each and everyone of these men owes my father a debt. A debt of honour. And despite the fact that one or two of them might have a dubious past, I trust them as much as my father trusted them. And let's face it, we probably don't have much of a choice." (Y/n) explained. Crossing her arms and waiting to see if Tyrion dare say anything else.
"Of course, of course, (Y/n). I didn't mean to question you. It is just that I have heard rumours............"
"And they are just that, Tyrion. Rumours! You should know better than to listen to rumours. Kings Landing is rife with rumours, and you can't believe one of them. I know all about Jorah did back in England. I have heard the tall tales about Beric being bought back from the dead through some strange things that Thoros did. And I don't care about that. What I do care about, is that they were my father's friends." (Y/n) interrupted. Tyrion nodding his head in agreement, knowing that the bounty hunter did have a point. That if half the rumours about him were right, he would actually be a lot more interesting than he really was.
(Y/n) didn't mean to growl at her old friend. She knew that Tyrion meant well. That it was only right that he be concerned. But if she was right, then the reputations of her father's old squad, should be the least of his worries. That Kings Landing should fear the Walker gang, much more than an Englishman, a priest, and a mountain man, among others. She could only believe that the Walkers had suddenly appeared again after all this time, because they had something big planned. That their forays into the ever expanding town, were to study the lay of the land. To scope out what had changed, so that they could better enter Kings Landing, when their gang was at full strength. And if that was the case, then she had a fear that many people could die. Including those that she had sent for.
In a way, she knew that it could be a suicide mission. That she could be calling them to their deaths. But each of them had faced death before. Each of them had looked it in the eye and laughed. And she was willing to do the same. Willing to face the same dangers as the men that would hopefully stand by her side. (Y/n) knowing that if she needed to, she would lay down her life to stop the Walkers. To have her father finally rest in peace.
"Well, I don't know about you two, but I'm with (Y/n). I ain't ever backed down from a fight, and I ain't about ta start now. Especially a fight against tha Walkers. That and we could use a little fun around here. Things are startin ta get a little too civilised for my taste." Bronn said. Raising his overflowing glass in salute to (Y/n), before downing the contents in one gulp.
"Well? Don't tell me that you're gonna be out done by this old scoundrel? I seem to remember you both saying that a Lannister always pays his debts. And if I also remember rightly, you both owe me for one or two favours that I did for you in the past." (Y/n) reminded the two lions. Jaime knowing that without her quick think, and her diplomatic skills after an interaction that he had had in Winterfell, he could in fact have been dead. Tyrion recalling that his drinking and whoring had got him in trouble on more than one occasion. Trouble that (Y/n) had somehow managed to make disappear for him. That, and the brothers knew that they couldn't say no to (Y/n). They had never been able to say no. She had always had a way about her. Even when she was young, she had had the ability to get others to come to her side. To get them to do what she wanted, in the nicest way possible. And both of them at one point, had hoped that he could persuade (Y/n) to stay in Kings Landing, when she would come through to town to collect a bounty. The lions also hoping that they could persuade her to stay with them. Persuade the half Cherokee beauty, to call him, hers.
"How can I say no to you, (Y/n)? I'm with you too." Tyrion finally replied. The little lion repeating Bronn's action, and raising his glass to (Y/n), before the contents were made to quickly disappear.
"So, Jaime. What do you say? I know that you are the Sheriff of this town. That you have a lot of responsibility on your shoulders. That you have your father on your back. Yet, I wouldn't ask this of you. I wouldn't have asked my father's men to come here, if I didn't think we needed them. If I didn't think that I needed you too. All of you. I need to know that even if your father has only brought me here, so that he doesn't lose any of his men. That at least in have you and Tyrion watching my back." (Y/n) asked, as she took the Sheriff by the hands. Her thumbs softly brushing over his skin, as she looked into Jaime's eyes, and waited for his reply. The golden lion feeling more lost than he usually did when he was in the bounty hunter's presence. The thought of a fight, seeming to have lit a fire deep inside her.
"Fine. But on one condition." Jaime told her. (Y/n), Bronn and Tyrion all looking at him. All wondering what this possible condition could be.
"That from now on, I am your only favourite Sheriff." Jaime explained. (Y/n) bursting out laughing and throwing her arms around the Lannister heir.
"You have my word, Jaime. From now on, you are my one and only favourite Sheriff."
