ELAINE MANOBAN'S POV

"She is fine" the doctors says as soon as she got out of the VIP room where they currently taking care of my daughter Jennie.

"Fine?" My husband asked.

The doctor bit her lips. "Well,she only got minor injury on her forehead in result of knocking onto something hard but no brain problem can possibly happen.She is fine and she just need to stay for a night here so that we can monitor her condition.We had done CT scan and we found out no inner injury.So,I can say she is fine.But..she kinda loss a lot of blood.We had see the wound.That's all the problem" the doctor explains and I let out a sigh of relieve.At least now I know my daughter is fine.That's the only things that matters now.

"Can we see her now?" My husband butt in.I look at him before returning my gaze on the doctor.

The doctor nod her head. "You may now.She might be waking up anytime soon" she says. "Now,I shall take my leave.Anything,just press the red button beside the bed.I'll come as fast as I can in case of emergency"

"Yeah.Thank you doc" I thanked her and she nod her head a bit before walking away.

"Let's get in" my husband suggest and we both made our way inside.

"My poor daughter.Why are you being so careless? How did this happen?" I asked to the sleeping figure on the bed.I take her hands and kiss it gently on the back.Inwould be lying if I say my heart didn't stings at the sight of my hurting daughter.Well,she is my daughter.My budle of joy that I carry inside my womb 9 months before popping it out to this world.I took a good care of her from a just born child to the woman she is today.

My husband come to me.He placed his hand on my left shoulder. "She'll be fine.You did know our daughter is strong,right?"

I nod my head in agreement.I know Jennie is strong.She is independent and mature.She is mentally strong. "Yeah" I replied before getting a kiss on my cheeks from him.

"Have you tell Lisa about Jennie?" I asked after some moments of silence.We are sitting on the couch,around three meter away from Jennie lying figure.

My husband frown.He stared into space as if he was thinking about something. "I had tried to call her countless of times during our wait for Jennie's check up with the doc just now but non of if she had answered.Her phone ring but she does not answer it" he said and I frown.Lisa never did this.She always answered whenever me or my husband called no matter in what time it was.This is... weird..

"Urghhh" Jennie voice groaning in pain making me and my husband shot up from our seat.We quickly made our way towards our daughter.

I reach for her hand. "What's wrong hon? Does it hurt too bad? I can call the doctor to get you some painkiller or something" I suggest but she shook her head.

"I'm fine" she confess but I know she is lying.Jennie likes to act tough.That's just how she is ever since she was a kid.

And I know better than to argue with her about this.She surely gonna tell me she can't take it anymore if she really can't.I don't need to force her to tell she indeed wanting to shout out loud her pain right now.

"Glad you are fine" my husband sigh and kiss Jennie's cheeks.That sweet affection from him caused my daughter to smile. "Now..that's what I want to see.You are smilling right now" he add and Jennie chuckle.

"Whatever dad.." she roll her eyes playfully. "By the way,where's Lisa?" She asked and as soon as she mention Lisa name, her face turn worried.She looked so worried that she turn pale.Why do I feel uneasy all of sudden?

"Lisa?" I asked and she nod.

"Yeah.Where is she? She was with me before I pass out.She is...OH MY GOD!" She scream all of sudden and it makes both me and my husband startle.She bring her hand covering her mouth.
