"Ayos ka lang ba?"
Napalingon ako kay Ryuu na nasa tabi ko. Lulan na kami ng eroplano pauwing south korea pagkatapos ng kasal nila Georgina at Samantha kahapon sa California. Hindi na kami masyadong nagtagal dahil madami pang trabahong naghihintay sakin pauwi.
"I'm fine." i forced a smile at him.
"You looked sad, Belle. Is it because of Cara?"
I feel a heavy squeezed in my heart. Nag-hesitate akong sumagot. I don't want to lie to him. He did nothing but be genuinely nice to me right from the very beginning.
"Y-yeah, it's her."
"Bakit mo pini-pressure ang sarili mo? If you still love her, bumalik ka sa kanya."
I was stunned by his words. I weirdly stared at him for a second. "And you're okay with it?"
Ryuu chuckled. "I'm not that mean, Belle. At isa pa halata naman na mahal mo pa siya eh. I could see love on your eyes whenever you glanced at her, especially during your friends wedding ceremony."
I'm honestly guilty right now. "I'm sorry, Ryuu."
"Hey, it's okay. Hindi naman ako galit, saka wala pa namang tayo para mag-drama ako tulad nang iniisip mo. Naintindihan kita, Belle."
Malambing ko siyang tinignan. What a good guy indeed. "Why are you so nice?"
Ryuu placed his arms around my shoulder. "I've been in your situation before, at nararamdaman kita. Don't pressure yourself, noona. We can remain friends naman eh."
Saglit akong nag-isip.
"You're right. Unfair din sayo kung sasagotin kita knowing that may hung ups parin ako sa ex ko." i said.
"Precisely. So, what are your plans now? Babalik ka ba ng pinas?"
Umiling ako. "I just started my career in south korea, ayoko ring sayangin ang opportunity na dumating sakin. I guess....mag fofocus na lang muna ako sa trabaho ko ngayon."
"Mas mabuti kung ganon. Madami pa namang naka line up na proyekto para sayo."
My heart touched. "Thank you, Ryuu."
Matamis siyang ngumiti sabay peace sign. "jeolchin" {Besties}

"Bye, drive safely." paalam ko kay Ryuu after niya akong ihatid sa villa house namin sa Gangnam District.
"See you tomorrow at work, noona." he waved his hand at me.
"See you." sinundan ko ang papalayo niyang sasakyan bago pumasok sa gate. Bahagyang nagsalubong ang kilay ko nang makitang naka-unlock yung main door. Perhaps, my parent's already arrived from Jeju Island, pero sa pagka-alam ko ay next week palang yung dating nila. But never mind.
I hurriedly went inside to check them, ngunit hindi ang magulang ko ang nakikita ko. It was my sister, Iris Choi. Natuptop ko bahagya ang bibig ko dahil sa gulat nang makitang buntis siya.
"Omg unnie, you're pregnant. Ilang buwan na ba yan?" i'm so happy for her, mukhang nagbungga ang pagmamahalan nila ng kanyang fiancé.
"B-belle, i need your help." Iris was crying. Napa-kunot nuo ako. Napalitan ng confusion ang saya ko.
