I started learning how to use throwing daggers today. It's the first thing that's been entirely new to me, no other place has anything like this, the closest being bows and arrows, but that's a bit of a stretch. I hit the target, no matter the distance, but getting them to actually stick is another story. You need to hold the things properly and balance them, you need to be hypersensitive to it's weight. There's also different types of throwing things like there's the daggers then these star thingies and others, I don't know how to even begin to explain.
I thought I'd be able to pick up everything quickly as usual so I can get away quickly, hopefully before more Yiga get here, I learned a little from her before so I was hoping that would be enough of the basics covered so I can get going, but...
I'm going to keep practicing nonstop, when Lasli or Steen are preoccupied, I'll ask Paya or someone else for help, since everyone has mastered their form. But going nonstop won't let what I learn to sink in so I do need breaks, but it feels like I'm wasting time, I need to get going.
