A Complicated Heart

Whats So Funny

I wrote and posted this one from my phone so excuse me for any mistakes that might have been made :)

Stevie and Lindsey had decided to take the kids to an amusement park today, Lindsey had the job of taking the kids on the rides due to the fact that Stevie was now 7 months pregnant and showing quite well

Sitting on a bench waiting for the kids to get off the roller coaster they were currently riding Stevie couldn't believe how lucky she was, they weren't naturally hers but she had three beautiful children and one on the way, her hand caressing her bump as she thought, she was snapped out of it when she saw Stella running towards her

"Mommy, mommy, that was soooooo fun!" She squealed with excitement

"Was it baby? How did daddy cope? Was he sick?" Stevie picked up the little girl and sat her on her lap

"He screamed like a girl the whole way round" by now the rest of the clan had arrived and Stevie couldn't help but laugh at Lindsey's face

"What's so funny?" He asked

"Your face is what's funny! You looked like you've seen a ghost! Oh and I've heard it on good authority that you scream like a girl" Stevie was in stitches at this point

"Want me to get off so you can get her daddy?" Stella asked amused

"No your okay, there would be more waddling on your mothers part" Stevie moved Stella off her and went for Lindsey

"I'll get you for that one Mr!" She tried to run but didn't get very far before Lindsey was sweeping her off her feet and kissing her, causing all parties to giggle

"Is that your way around everything hmm?"

"Judging by this" he set her down and patted her bump "I would have to say yes it is" he gave her another kiss and it wasn't long before Will was asking for another go on the big rides

"You sure you don't want to do this round?" Lindsey asked

"Sorry honey, I'm looking after junior here" she rubbed her stomach and waved him off again

A little while later they left the amusement park and decided to stop by at a cute little dinner in between the park and their house

"I like it here, the foods so good!" LeeLee told pretty much the whole restaurant

"Mmm, isn't it just!" Stevie said as she stuffed more fries into her mouth

"I'm not sure the place will have any food when we come to leave" Will said jokingly as he motioned his head to Stevie

"Hey I'm eating for two here! Your brother or sister is going to need energy" Will just laughed

"There's energy mom, then there's making them prematurely obese" Will watched Stevie drop her fork as tears sprung to her eyes

"I was just joking, I'm sorry don't cry"

"You just called me mom for the first time"

"well you are to me, is that okay?" He was worried now

"God, of course it is, the girls call it me already and I was just waiting till you were ready" she was still teary

"I'm definitely ready!"

"I love you" she told him and he smiled

"I love you to mom"

About half an hour later and Stevie was on the ice cream, she was eating away when she suddenly stopped

"What's the matter?" Lindsey asked worried

"I think junior is getting cold from the ice scream, their putting up a fight here!"

"Mommy, can I feel? Can I?" Stella asked

"Of course you can, come here honey?" Stella walked over and felt the baby move from inside Stevie's stomach, LeeLee desperately wanted to go next followed by Will

"Do you mind if the father here actually gets to feel?" Lindsey asked whilst smiling

He leaned to Stevie next to him and placed his hand on her bump, he felt it move and Stevie placed her hand on top of his and squeezed

"I love you" he told her and she gladly replied the same

The rest of the evening was spent laughing and Stevie and Lindsey telling the kids about stuff that happened when they were kids themselves, they left the restaurant and drove home to get the currently three sleeping kids off to bed

Lindsey was puzzled when he pulled on to the driveway and there was already a car waiting there

"Who the hell's here at this time?" Lindsey mumbled to himself and got out of his car and walked to the door of the other car

"Excuse me but what..." He stopped when the person in the other car looked at him

"Hi Linds..."
