Lindsey and Kristen were running down the street to where Stevie’s hotel was, Lindsey spoke to Kristen as he went
“I swear to god right now, if you have done permanent or fatal damage to Stevie, I will end you!” Kristen didn’t say anything and just continued running
They reached the hotel and Lindsey ran the stairs to be faster than the elevator, once he reached Stevie’s door he grabbed the key off Kristen and ran in
“Oh god Steph” he cried out and ran over to the lifeless body on the floor
He collapsed on the floor beside her and turned her over, tears fell as he looked at her blank face that every inch of was covered in her blood
Lindsey whipped his head around and looked at Kristen
“Don’t just stand there, phone 911!”
Lindsey turned his attention back to Stevie, and scooped her up in his arms
“Come on baby, you’ll be just fine I know you will, just please Stephanie don’t leave me, I could just about deal with not being with you but I would know you would be somewhere, if you’re not anywhere I can’t survive either, please, make it for me” he whispered next to her ear so Kristen couldn’t hear “Make it for our kids”
He sat with her for the next 15 minutes whilst the ambulance arrived, just talking to her and telling her how much he loved her
When the ambulance arrived he held her limp hand as they piled her into the ambulance and hooked her up to all the cables that she needed
Lindsey said not another word to Kristen and got in the ambulance with Stevie, all he did was stroke her blood stained hair and look at her
“I can’t lose you!” he told her again and again
“Is she going to be alright?” he asked the paramedic
“Right now sir, its 50/50 I’m not going to lie she’s hit her head with a tremendous amount of force” Lindsey just nodded and said nothing the rest of the way
He just wanted his Stevie to come back to him
