"I get so much hate on social media. I try to not look at it but it is eating me alive when I don't look. I know that I'm not good enough for Lando but there must be something about me if he wants to stay with me. I just don't know what I did to his fans for them to dislike me so much. It even makes me want to stay inside because I don't want the paparazzi to take photos of me together with Lando." Mila was sitting on the couch of her therapist, after Lando's accident six weeks ago, she decided to go back to therapy and work on herself. But over the weeks she received a lot of hate, the fans blamed her for the accident even though it happened on the track and she could do absolutely nothing about it. People were talking about how Lando will not make a comeback because Mila doesn't want him to go racing anymore and that she wants him to be a stay-at-home dad. The stories were ridiculous and Mila knew that but it made her insecure about everything.

The therapist looked at her watch, "Mila, our time for this week is up. I want you to discuss this with Lando. Be open about everything that makes you feel insecure."Mila bit on her bottom lip, she knew she had to do it but she didn't want Lando to worry about her. Lando on the other hand was enjoying this time off. Of course, he wanted to go back to racing but right now he was enjoying the free time with his pregnant girlfriend. They were looking for a house in Monaco and Lando was streaming more and making content with quadrant. Mila could see how much Lando needed this time and she didn't want to be the one to take away his happiness.

"Lan?" Lando looked up at the sound of Mila's soft voice. The two of them were sitting on the balcony of their hotel room. Lando was scanning through the Appartement on his laptop while Mila was reading a book. Mila knew that this was the perfect time to talk to Lando about the hate on social media. She was scared, afraid of his reaction and not knowing if she could physically say it or that she had to write it down for him. Mila decided on the last one, grabbing the piece of paper out of the pocket of her shorts. Lando raised his eyebrows, never having received a handwritten letter before. Mila sat down next to Lando, she was playing with her fingers while Lando opened the letter. Mila watched Lando's face as his eyes glided over the words.

Dear Lando,
I can imagine this must freak you out, me writing you a letter. But I just don't know how to physically say the words I'm about to write.

It's really hard for me to say this because I can tell how happy this time off is making you and I don't want to be the one who ruins that happiness for you but I need you to know this. throughout the last couple of weeks, I realized how unhappy I've become. I'm happy with you, you are the love of my life and I wouldn't want to be with anyone else. I'm becoming miserable because of your fans.

Your fans have been stalking me, messaging me, sending me to hate. I don't want to worry you but I even have death threats. I'm scared, Lando. Scared that your being with me is holding you back. I'm scared to be alone, to walk on the streets. Scared that someone recognises me when I'm walking by myself. I don't want you to think that I'm overreacting and it's not that all of the people treat me badly, because there are so many kinds and good people out there. The bad people who hurt me just take the overhand.

I m mentally not stable enough to handle this and I know, for the sake of the baby and myself I have to stop this. I know you care about your fans but I can't take this anymore. Something needs to change, otherwise, I won't survive this.

Know that I love you and this isn't a break-up, I love you so much. But I can't do this anymore, I need you to help me.

Love, Mila

Lando looked up after he finished the letter. His eyes were filled with tears, he quickly wiped them away before they could spill. "I'm so sorry love," Lando said. He let go of the letter and pulled Mila on his lap. "I'm so sorry for not seeing it. It's all my fault." Mila shook her head, "if I had noticed this sooner this wouldn't have had happened." Mila caressed the side of Lando's face. "I'm going to do something about this, if someone sends my girlfriend hate on social media, then they are no fan of mine." Mila gave him a small smile before kissing him, "I love you." Mila smiled and nuzzled her nose against Lando's.

"What apartment?" Mila mumbled once she pulled away from Lando. Lando grabbed his Laptop and showed Mila the two apartments he loved. They talked about what they liked and their wishes for their future home. They agreed to look at the two places and after taking them to the real estate agent they were happy to have a viewing tomorrow. The young adults had a romantic dinner on the balcony of their hotel room. It made Mila dream about how it would be to officially live here, for their baby to grow up here. It made Mila think that this was the best place for them,  a lot of F1 drivers loved living here. There were very few fans and the guys mostly felt like they weren't constantly chased by crowds of fans.

Mila lifted her body off the couch, she was browsing through Netflix but there wasn't one movie that caught her interest tonight. Lando was streaming on twitch and Mila could hear his laughter rumble through their hotel room. Mila decided to take a long bath. Her muscles relaxed as soon as her body hit the water. Mila felt her body relax and the release of the tension in her body made her cry a little. The exhaustion mixed with the extra hormones was confusing her.

Mila laid down on the couch after her bath, not ready to go to bed yet but wanting to rest her body. She was crying again, and Mila was getting frustrated with herself. The hate definitely was taking a toll on her but she also felt like she was overreacting because of the pregnancy hormones. She groaned as she felt her face get puffy because of the crying. Mila so desperately tried to close her eyes a she could rest for a while. With a hand supporting her growing stomach and a heating pad supporting her back, she soon drifted off into a deep slumber, listening to Lando's chatter in the other room.

A/N: Short chapter, I know. The book is coming to an end, I have 3 more chapters for you guys. Hope you will like the end of it all. Thanks for all the support even though I'm not consistent with uploading, I'm really trying.
