The pre-season testing went great for Mclaren, the cars looked great and the times were pomising. Mila and Lando didn't have much time to spent together with their busy scheduals and such, but they saw eachother at interviews. Mila was burried in work and she couldn't wait for some well deserved time off. Mila and Lando agreed to stay two more days in Bahrain after testing, so they could just relax and be together.

Mila closed her laptop and walked out of the motorhome. She greeted some people and gave Lucy a last hug as she would take a flight home tonight. Mila walked towards the paddock to pick up Lando so they could travel to the hotel together.. Mila walked in to the garage and saw Lando help the crew break the garage down, something he still did and she admired him for it. On her way Mila ran into Daniel, "Hey Mila, You alright?" Mila nodded. "You are here to see your boyfriend right?" Mila sighed and pushed Daniel playfully aside. "Alright, alright. Have a great night I will see you at the MTC." Mila waved goodbye to Daniel before making her way over to Lando who already saw her coming in.

"Hey Mils," Lando said while envoloping Mila in a bear hug. "You ready to head off?" Mila nodded and Lando dared to wrap his arm around her shoulder while walking towards the parking lot. They were greeted by fellow drivers and they saw Daniel stepping into his car. "Have fun lovebirds!" He screamed across the parking lot, and Lando and Mila almost ran towards Lando's car, not wanting to draw any attention to themselves.

Lando and Mila briefly parted ways to change and freshen up. Mila took a quick shower, shaving her body and washing her hair. When she came out she wrapped the big, fluffy towel around her body she smothered herself in bodylotion. She blowdried her hair and straightened it to perfection. She picked a skintight, black dress from her suitcase, pairing it with white wedges, giving her some height while she could still comfortably walk. She looked at herself in the mirror, the dress hung perfectly on her body, just grazing her calves, her make up was minimal, not wanting to sweat of all her foundation.

She was happy with her look, her heart rate picked up when she heard a knock on the door. She quickly grabbed a small clutch and threw her essentials in it while spraying some perfume around her. She opened the door to reveal Lando, he was wearing Kahki shorts on his legs while a white fitted polo hugged his toned upper body.

Land smiled when he saw Mila, "wow, you look absolutely stunning." Mila blushed at his compliment. "Thanks, you look handsome too." Land gave her a kiss on her cheek as Mila closed the door to her room.

Mila was confused when they walked passed Lando's car. "We are going for a walk, if you don't mind." Land said, as he noticed the look on her face. They walked close to each other, their arms barely brushedeach other and Lando felt confident enough to grab her hand. Mila smiled, loving the small gesture.

Wile they were walking, Lando noticed that something was bothering Mila. "Is something wrong?" Mila bit on her lower lip. We didn't want to sound jealous already, they weren't together, but she couldn't get the encounter with Eve out of her head.

Mila let go of Lando's hand so she could type on her phone. Lando patiently waited for her to show him what she was typing. "I can't help but feel bothered with the whole Eve encounter. We is clearly into you and I don't want to stand in your way if you are into her too." Lando stopped walking and grabbed both of Mila's hands in his.

"Look at me, " Mila looked up from the ground. "Eve is a nice girl, sure. But I want to date you. I want to give us a go. Because I think that we could have something special here. Eve is.. I can I say this nicely.. She likes attention, something I don't care for. I care for you, even if we have only known each other for a small amount of time. You keep me grounded, something I need with my job, and she, well let's just say she is not my type."

Mila blushed, feeling overwhelmed by Lando confessing his feelings for her. "Sorry for overreacting and acting jealous." Mila said. Lando smiled, finding her very cute in this moment. "I would be worse if some guy made a pass on you, so you're good." they laughed and walked along.

Lando guided them to the docks, massive yachts were on display while they stopped at a small boat. Lando stepped on and helt his hand out for Mila to take, so she could also step on the boat. Lando guided them to the small deck, "We are going for a ride, " he said while starting the boat up. Mila took of her shoes, sitting down and putting on her sunglasses. The sunset was beautiful and lit up Lando as he drove of out of the small harbour.

Lando stopped when they were well of shore, lifting his sunglasses and waking towards where Mila was laying down. She looked at him with a big smile while he grabbed a big picnic basket. He pulled out some containers and a bottle of champagne with two glasses. He popped the bottle and poured each of them a glass. "I don't like champagne, but I feel like this moment is worth the celebration." Mila nodded and took one of the glasses from him. He helt up his glass, "to our first date, one of many, I hope." he said with a small bluss while they clicnked their glasses together. Mila took a sip, the cold bubbly liquid filled her mouth. "So, i'm not a very good cook, so I asked the hotel staff to prepare us some food." he said slightly embarrassed as he opened the containers and pulled out the various foods.

They enjoyed the delicious food the hotel provided, while just talking. They got to know each other more, talking about their childhood and families. "You really set the bar Lando." Lando looked at Mila with a questioning look on his face, "how come?" Mila finished her glass of champagne and showed Lando her phone. "This is the first time anyone has ever taken me on a date. Since I have been mute, guys don't really take the time to get to know me." Mila looked at Lando, she had finished the bottle of champagne all by herself while Lando just dark some soda. The alcohol warming her body and she could feel herself loosening up.

Lando looks up at Mila and handed back her phone. "It's going to sound really cheesy, but i'm glad I set the bar high, I hope you will never go on a date with anyone else now." Land really wanted to kiss Mila again. After their first kiss at her apartment, he was holding himself back to not kiss her all the time.

"Mils?" Mila turned around, she was standing at the edge of the boat, taking a picture of the view. "I have never done this before, and I don't know if I'm doing it right. But I really like you, and I want to call you mine. What I'm trying to say is, will you be my girlfriend?" Mila nodded, the smile on her face could light up the world. She wrapped her arms around Lando's neck, their faces were close and Mila nudged Lando's nose with hers. Lando finally leaned in and kissed her. As cliche as it sounds, sparks where flying, Land helt onto Mila's waist while she ran her hands through his hair.

Mila lightly bit down on Lado's bottom lip, which made Lando moan. He had kissed a few girls in his life, but never anyone he really liked. They pulled away when they needed to catch their breath. "I think it's time to head back to shore." Mila nodded and walked with Lando who started up the boat. "You want to sail us back?" Mila looked at Lando and nodded her head. Mila's hands were on the wheel while Lando had his arms around her from behind, the cliche moment felt so great for the two young adults who had never experienced this. 

They walked back to their hotel, their hands intertwined while Lando was carrying Mila's shoes in his other hand. Lando walked Mila back to her room, Mila was searching for her roomkey when the reached her door. She opened her door en took a step inside, turning around to look at Lando. "You want to come in?" Land nodded his head and Mila pulled him in her room. Lando threw Mila's shoes somewhere in the corner while he stepped closer to her. He grabbed her face in his hands and smashed their lips against each other.
